All car dealers have to give a 3month now every car you buy come with a 3 month and you have the option to pay for an upgrade.
-
If you get the car from a dealer then there is a 3 month warranty by law .
The sold as see rule dose not hold water any more m8.
Take the car back right down what the mileage was when you got it and what it is now and work out how many you did in it then tell them.
As this will show you have not used it.
All the best with it but i think he will have to fix it or give you your money back.
Use the words the car is not fit for purpose.

Omg i have just set this up on my pc and what an operating system it is very fast and stable.
Took 20 mins to set up and all my software works on it 64bit two.
For once they have something that works.
Well happy
-
Tell me about it its a good feeling when you only have to pay for the mot.
Good luck on yours m8 will be fine.
A 10 year old car is much better put together than the cars of today you are right
-
And yes my my99 uk turbo 2000 has passed her mot again with no faults.
The can is 10 years old this year and she has never had a failed and not one advisory well happy.
They said she is fine on her under side and every thing is ok.
He said he would think there will be np probs next year
Its got to be the best car i have ever had
-
I cant say as i have never looked at what make the clutch was on the ones i have taken out.
But i don't think they are exedy
-
yeah i heard about the MAF issues on the MY99 about a month ago, i am going to pull the engine and get the heads skimmed i was talking to a subaru mechanic earlier on this morning where he told me not to right off the engine if there are no knocks get the heads skimmed and that thould work atreat, as i never got them skimmed a few months back and i never used new strech CH bolts.
so going to get new bolts, heads skimmed and fit a new clutch this time, fingers crossed metal gaskets that were replaced 2 months ago will still be usable were the mechanic said they would prob be OK as there the genuine subaru metal gaskets i stuck in.
anyways i will be elbow deep first thing the mora morning.
Hello m8
I have just been reading your post if you are going to take the heads off do not use the old head gaskets.
I have rebuilt a few Subaru engines and lots of others do not use the old ones.
As once you have put the heads on you have taken up the movement in the gaskets.
And when you take the off they don't go back so the next time you put the heads on they will not seal as well.
It is not worth it as you will be taking the engine out again to put new ones on .

Tap into the back of the cigarette lighter m8 so when you switch your lights on the lights come on the boost gauge

Hello all
Can any of you recommend where i can pick up a new EJ205 turbo engine, or even a re-connditioned unit.
Any webpages will be most useful so i can study the best deal out there.
cheers.
If you go to http://www.piston-broke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1001 Swiss is Breaking up his car very nice one two.
You will be able to hear it running and if you are fast drive the car so you no its all ok.

Welcome and very nice 106 i like the look.
Cant wait to see the wrx in a few years
-
As far as i no the top pipe will need to be cut going to the inlet manifold as the 94 runs a off set one .
you cut it and put a blue silicon hose there to join them back together.
Then you have the flex in it to mate it up.
Hope this helps.
-
go on then spill the beans what one you got
-
I will be at the next one have to get the scooby out and mot'd
-
a bout time you got your ass back on here and talking about a new scooby
-
Yes most of the parts will fit .
The ecu will fit but you will need his turbo as on the wrx its a tdo5 and on the turbo 2000 its a tdo4
-
errr i'm 43 and left home at 17 so haven't been living in daddys pocket for quite a while so
Well start acting like a 43 year old that has left home not a 5year old that's had his toys taken away.
One more thing P*ss of back under the stone you come from.
Big d don't let this baby get under your skin you are doing a good job.
And if this is a stand point for Cotswolds then they will be very silly to upset some one that helps 16,685 registered members of a Subaru site ?????...
Opinions Please :)
