As above really , just had my renewal in and it's £1500!!!!!! don't want to sell up so am wondering if anyone can make a recommendation for a decent insurer especially in the g72 area that would be great

The whole thing was a publicity stunt , right down to the HGV drivers who were in on it. If you notice they were not travelling quickly and were spread across the motorway to stop any traffic getting through. the driver , one fictional chracter "wangan willy" organised if to "promote" the up and coming sport of drifting. The driver himself is a uk pro driver and was in control of the car at all times. While some within the drifting fraternity didn't agree with his methods , they acknowledged his ability and reason for doing it! Gotta love those 4 door skylines thought , real dori pimp!!

There will be some top uk drifters attending this event AFAIK. Event has been heading toward a drift showcase in preparation of using knockhill for a new venue for the 2006 calendarand moving away from the normal hot hatch day. There will be a drag challenge as well with the USSC winning supra running. p.s. My boyfried says 4wd's can't drift. it's just power understeer followed by lift off tank slapping.

Looking for some knowledgable folks to guide me here. 1) I have a classic WRX type RA. The whole motorway thing is getting me down with the short ratio box. Does anyone know of the most common changes in the gearbox area , i.e. love the rapid acceleration so would a late model sti 6spd box drop straight in ??All other suggestions welcome. 2 ) does anyone know a good impreza breakers , need some spare parts!! << Hi People, Got a set of 4 STI2 alloys for sale as above with nearly new Toyo T1-R tyres included. Not that bothered about them so its worth selling them on .Will accept £250ish and prefer pick up from Edinburgh.....I can meet anywhere within a decent radius of the city. The alloys are rather old so not the nicest looking but the tyres are the main reason for selling. Must admit that once money is sorted out i will be buying the same tyres for my new 17" alloys, these tyres are spot on! Feel free to drop me a line or even request a look see, they are currently in my loft and all cleaned up thanks to wonder wheel so no worries about storage. Also for sale, a pair of 4pot Brembo Calipers from a Pug 406 coupe. Black finish. Used condition but cleaned right up and about to go on sale on Ebay, will fit any modern pug with the intention of better brakes. Posted in here for some local help!! 2 things:- 1) Car is still limited to 110mph and it's a pain in the ass!! Does anyone know of anywhere local where I can get it delimited?? 2) Probably associated to one , but when you hit the rev limiter ( 7k?? Is this right??) the engine management light comes on. Anyone help me out with what this might be also?? Car is an MY93 wrx RA. Cheers , Claire
