  1. I was just wondering what the fastest standard subaru impreza you can buy is? Been thinking about changing the bug for something a bit quicker. Took a PPP'd V7 sti out the other day on a test run expecting alot more than the wrx I currently drive. To be honest I was a tiny bit disspointed. Although it went, stopped and handled better than what I currently drive it just wasn't as quick as I was expecting. Having said that I didn't really get the chance to open it up properly as it was only a test drive. Iain
  2. Jesus, hope everyone was alright. Note to self. By fire extinguisher for car! Iain

  8. Very nice ed. Just out of interest what size amp are you using to power the subs? Thinking about doing something similar but might try and squeeze 3 12's in. Iain

  17. You wont get any joy e-mailing them. I never did. They still owe me a boost gauge. I have a fully sleeved WP special. Really handy for fitting the flanged centre cat come mot time... Dont get me started.
  18. A wee thanks to Russell (WUZ) for doing the work to my motor so close to heading offshore. Im sure there are better things to be doing on a Sunday night than lying under my car when its 0 degrees.Fingers crossed the MOT will go smoothly now. Cheers Iain []

  20. We'll im AB11. Insurance is cheap considering my age. It doesn't matter where you stay in town theres resident chavs everywhere. Have got a guy on the case for doing the repairs as a homer which is good news . Waiting on hearing back. Looks like shes here to stay for the time being. Went for a blast the other day along a similar road to what cal was describing i.e. walls either side. It was a case of windows down, music off, plant it...awesome!! [] Iain
  21. For custom exhausts i'd go to turriff tyres. They've got a branch of powerflow there and are supposedly quite good. There are others near by that i refuse to comment on.[:@] Iain
  22. My god, thats just wrong [] Iain []
  23. Likewise. Iain
  24. I get it from time to time. Unfortunately it is a subaru trate. Some get it some dont. It'll go away once the car warms up. I've heard replacing the flywheel and / or clutch can cure it. A bit extreme if you ask me (unless you can get it under warrenty). Just live with it. Iain
  25. Lol. No more than you []
