as andy said the advantages are purely comsetic. its just spewing outa noise. theres also the case of oil doing whatever and making things break but i havent had any problems to date. go to the searhc space at the top of the page and type in dump valve. this will bring up all the previous threads about the pro's and cons of them mate. When i look in the dump valve i see crank oil or some shat but thats just the resin floating about the engine bay, nothing a catch can wouldnt fix. Something not too loud???? Baileys, Blitz, or one i think suits most cars well is the HKS SQV. thats a great dump valve and sounds cool for cats. HKS is a couple of hundred sheets perhaps and is the dogs.
