Oh well the saga continues. On first glace it didn't look that bad but .... Neither of our insurances covers the repair cos so having to fork out £4,500 plus £399 for the pick up from Edinburgh, to get her back on the road [:'(] just as well I have been saving for mods [:|] I am gutted to say the least but hopefully she will be good as new. Bodywork damaged but timing belt knackered and and valves and tons of other stuff. Should get her back in 2/3 weeks, I should have stopped crying by then []

Hi Guys, just back from hospital. Peter is very sore but he'll survive. Boys who crashed into him were going down a one way street the wrong way. The car wasn't stolen but they had no tax and insurance and NO STEERING WHEEL!! The Police caught them and are being charged with wreckless driving, no tax and insurance. In the car there was a bag of knives and scalpels and the boys were high on drugs. At the scene some workies helped push the car to side of road, woman asked if he wanted a cuppa whose husband actually got in his car and followed the boys, people offered the use of their phones and some handed Peter their phone numbers and name if he needed witnesses. There are some lovely, helpful people out there. One shopkeeper actually shut his shop, got into his car and went after them too. And a big thank you to everyone for their best wishes and offers of help and support. I panicked and didn't know where to turn. You all kept me on track. Thank you [] On a lighter note Peter was on his way to a meeting in Edinburgh Castle. He actually won Top Performing Manager in Scotland and Highest Brakes Sales in Scotland. Wait a minute, he has just told me the story about the 3 nurses stripping him and expects me to make him something to eat [:^)] lol Vicki []

Peter has been in an accident in my scooby today near Commistone Road, Edinburgh. He has been taken to hospital and I need to get the car removed from street. Does anyone in that area know a company I can call to remove it as it undrivable. Both our insurances company won't move it or the Police. Thank you. Vicki [:'(]
