Hello and welcome
-
Don't feel intimidated, he is in the wrong and he left the scene of the accident.
I would write down what I am going to say before I phone and have answers ready for whatever he might say to you. You might have butterflies but deep breaths and stay calm and positive.
It will be fine.

Cheers guys, very helpful. I know know what to say when I go back

Hi Guys
Was back at S&S Services today with my car. Since I got it when moving off in first and changing to second gear the clutch judders a bit. Have left it a couple of weeks now and gettin used to it but still not happy.
S&S agreed there was a judder but said it is a characterist of the classic model and if he put a new clutch in it, chances are it would still be the same. I have to leave it another few weeks then get back in touch with him if it gets any worse or still not happy.
Service from the garage was good, but was just wondering if anyone else experiences this.

I get 220miles from a full tank (£43). Does this sound about right for a Sunday driver?

I'd buy one with SIDC logo on or Subaru. If you put STI on it you may limit your market (says Vicki who has a classic).
Make them like the Kwik Fit ones, they are good!
Great idea

I'm on, only took me a month!

Hi Des
If you want my advice about tyres please go to the general discussion area and look at the thread called "new tyres". Its about 2nd last on the first page. (If you can be bothered)
Don't know where everyone gets their tyres on here but Costco is cheap for Michelins.
