I mean really................... WTF is that all about???????????????????????

<< I am so dismayed by all this carry on that i am seriously considering withdrawing my sidc membership and making this my last post. >> Behave yourself. Cos that is going to make the person own up???? You lose out by not being here and they win, again. i would take a chill pill, step back and look at this again. Its not definately an SIDC'er and making it harder to join the club is just madness, we wnat people to join not make them go through pages of info so we can "allow" them in, what sort of checks could be done anyhow?
-
I do worry that we will drift from the SIDC a little, I'm a lazy B too and don't have time to flick through lots of different sections so think I would lose out slightly on my browsing. Not the end of the world tho' I will still be here

<< Looks like a bit of a gap in the market down Edinburgh way, so anyone looking for this sort of work to be carried out on their pride and joy, Jamie is the man to get in touch with >> Cool glad to hear he did a good job. Your not joking about Edinburgh, Does he just work from home or is it a proper garage cos I always need sh1t looked at.

<< dont know about all this fuel stuff but supermarket cornflakes are nothing like the real think! neither are beans ,cola ,tomato sauce................ >> LOL keith, very good point I used to work with all the petrol retailers and conversations with them lead me to believe that supermarket fuel is the lowest grade possible with nothing added in but Shell, BP and Esso put additives in hence the reason it is dearer. Dunno if its gospel tho?

<< As for everyone who replied an a serious note.......you all need a bit of fun in your life....go take your Scoob a run or summin!! >> LOL, erm that will be me then. Just off oot in the car

<< I've got an H&S downpipe and decat on my RB5 and it sounds amazing. Lovely rumble around town, great in the clyde tunnel and nice and quiet ( not silent) at 70. The best combo I have ever heard. At turbo boost time the note really hardens and goes crazy, I love it Oh and a prodrive rear box. >> Was that you at the MMR on sunday? If so your car is gorgeous I had proper scooby envy its one of my faves.
-
I like loud, can't hear much conversation in my car above 80 but it sounds soooo nice I drive with my windows down. Growl Whooosh pop bang burble
-
But they are so much fun. yes I know, no increase in performance, just for the image, just for a whooshing noise blah blah blah. We have nice shiny 17's instead of 16's why? We colour code stuff why? Uprate the stereo why? The list is endless, new lights? I like my dumpvalve cos it sounds ace, its fun and adds to the overall driving experience just like the above. If you have a problem don't fit em but many people have them with no ill effects to their engines. just my 2 cents worth

PMSL @ this thread Far to clever for me, well done.

Also some councils are giving out fines to people for leaving their cars running while stationary.

Yay bout time you came out to play Miss Scooby

I start work at 3.30-4am so leave the house as quietly as possible and to be honest if it was me who was gettin woken up for 15 minutes every day I wouldn't phone the police I would ask you to be a little more considerate and if you couldn't compromise I'm sure I could be a lot more persuasive. We all gotta live together. Sorry to be a bore and i'm not 102 either. There's no need for 15 minutes is there? a gentle run for 10 minutes below 3000 revs should be fine.

sorry. how rude, welcome to the forum

<< Hi, welcome. Talking about cats know anyone selling kittens ? >> Why, are you putting a pot of soup on?
