  1. Had mine done at Hypertec a couple of weeks ago. Well impressed.
  2. I was there last weekend. First class service and result. Going back for an H&S centre pipe this weekend. Well worth the journey through from deepest Ayrshire.
  3. Was up today and got ALK and rear drop links plus suspension set up. Goes exactly where I want it to now, Just so Positive on the turn in. In fact if the car could talk it would be saying "come on Fearty, I can go much quicker than that through the bends." Thanks agin to Duncan and I might see you soon for the H&S pipe.. the missus said "Why did you not just get it?" Women! She must be wanting something.
  4. The other downside is the wife wants to come. She knows about the setup but that's all. Duncan reckons I can take her a wander to the Falkirk wheel for a bit of lunch and it should be done and dusted by the time we get back. They just don't understand and if i 'fess up there is likely to be some reciprocal spending.
  5. Thought I might hear from you John. Cheers for that..just a pity I need to wait another week.
  6. Booked today with Hpertech for an ALK and set up. Who's had it done? Opinions please. Going in a week on Saturday...fully booked this weekend.
  7. Thanks for that. That looks like the same as my WRX one, which is the same diameter. Maybe just the red stitching that makes it look smaller.
  8. It would need to be one with the subaru wheel, not the MOMO one. For once I'm as big as everyone else
  9. Anybody got a tape measure?
  10. I think it'll be smaller than mine!
  11. Generally the Gatso only fires at oncoming traffic when it's not loaded, i.e. no film in.
  12. I've got a 56 Hawkeye which has a 37cm steering wheel(14.5" in old money). I beleive the STi wheel is slightly smaller. Does anyone know the size or could some kind STi owner measure theirs?
  13. I've got a 56 wrx with PFF7 18" wheels and prodrive springs. Also got the Scott Lowe splitter fitted and have only once scrubbed the splitter coming out of a car park due to the difference in road level. The springs only reduce it by 20mm. Up to you though.
  14. Had something similar. It was the mudflaps.
  15. Yes it did Dave, thanks. Just I was advised that the Hawkeye might be different from yours. Got them fitted yesterday and they were set up somewhere between your settings and the prodrive ones. I'll monitor the tyre wear for a few weeks, but it feels much more positive and grippy than before.
  16. Can anyone assist with fast road settings for 56 Hawkeye with prodrive springs. Suspect the Prodrive settings will be too severe on front tyres.
  17. Sorry about this misinformation. I forgot to include vat to the price which should take it to what you were quoted. Apologies again Tommy
  18. Cheers thanks for that. I was going to get the dealer to set it up initially and if not satisfied take a trip to Hypertech as I've heard great things about them.
  19. Springs are £225 + fitting, which works out around £350 total minus SIDC discount of 10%
  20. I'm considering fitting prodrive springs for my 56 Hawkeye WRX. S&S say they will set it up with Prodrive geometry settings but I've also read about a lot of tyre wear on the inside due to the camber, and some people use Fast road settings instead. Does anybody know what they are so that I can try these instead?
  21. I agree, but I've got them as well on my black hawkeye.
  22. Good work George. The full Tulliallan treatment I see.
  23. Wotz wrong with being over 50+!!
  24. Got the same T-shirt last week. Fantastic
  25. Got the turbo from Andy and had it fitted locally. Still standard injectors, fuel pump and tmic. Need another tank of Vpower
