Okay.I dont have a AVC-R...sorry. I don't want anymore hardware than i need so i'll look into a 24V solenoid. Do i just go into RS and get one or is there different 24V solenoid in their cataloge that i need to look at? How much is the one from Steve Simpson? Or have you got one for sale? Thanks Alan. Btw i went to Greers to see the Owen Development Turbo and it's well trick looking.

Open you cup holder fully and take a philips screwdriver to remove the 2 visible screws. Remove cup holder and air vent. You now have enough space for your hand to get in underneath the clock and ease it out gently. Job done correctly and you shouldn't have any broken clips.[]

Peter a standard TD05 is a 16g and they are not laggy at all. try a 20g on a non-sti valvetrain with a fmic and then see what laggy really is! Stuart I'm still learning...[]

You would have been better with a classic sti intercooler imho. IHI turbo......theres loads...try vf28 or 29.....34 or even a 35......and i'm not selling mines even though i'm getting a new Owen Development Hybrid turbo!!

Its the plastic y peice under the intercooler that you want to replace.

I was speaking to Colin at Greersport and this is what he said whilst out mapping with the GEMS ECU in a classic with a TD05 turbo rally car"this turbo is pish and laggy as hell.....should have put the IHI VF 29 in instead.....will need a remap when the IHI goes in..." This comment is about a standard TD 05 and not a 16g , 18 g or 20g. You make your own mind up m8.
