I got my set delivered next day.
PM me if you still need some.

Had real problems on the last car with Bridgestone and tramlining.......changed them for Goodyear F1 GS-D3 tyres and they were fantastic...will be changing the tyres on the new chariot soon and will be going for Goodyears again....NO Hesitation....
I went for F1's too after recommendations on here and wouldn't try anything else now. I noticed very quickly when you hit standing water (as you tend to do on the M9!) there isn't that "surge" when you first hit. They just seem to run right through it without any feeling of change at all.
EDIT: I paid £360 for all four at Jims, fitted.
Cheers Andy, was that for 225/45/17's?

Folks, thanks for all your responses re-tyres[
] I think i'l get some quotes for the Eagle F1's and Toyo's. What prices have you guys paid for 225/45/17's?.
Cheers

RE-040's crap - but RE-050's I have found to be very good. Ditch them and sell them on.

Likewise Brian I've found the RE050's to be fine (or better than the 40's)! Dont rate these 040's if this is how they handle! Just been having a wee look @ alternatives and the Toyos or Goodyears seem to be the thang![
] with good prices on the toyos. Wasn't planning on changing the tyres just now but its p*ssing me off so the sportcat might just have to wait until later[
]
Any other tyres folks would recommend or I'm I best with the Toyos or Goodys?

Chris,
Thats what I'm gonna go for mate! Used them on previous cars with great effect. Just wondering if I had a problem with the car rather than the tyres???? .......but ran perfectly on the 215's.
Anyone else?

I recently fitted sti 8 alloys to my car courtesy of Gav. The wheels are fitted with OE spec Bridgestone Tyres RE040-225/45/17's has anybody else experienced bad tram-lining with these tyres?
Never had any bother with the 215/45/17's on the WRX wheels.
At first I thought it might have been the tyre pressures as the wheels have been lying around for a while. Checked them and they were out and setting them right made "SOME" improvement but still feel some twitching.
I was gonna go for Toyos when the tyres are goosed but might just change them sooner.[
]
Anyone else had problems? Geometry was set recently (prior to fitting these wheels) to Prodrive settings would this affect this? should I get a fast road setting instead?
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Cheers
