  2. Jings! I remember them too! Fack were getting old.[:$] I never knew how he could chuck the SD1 about. must have weighed a ton! He also drove the Mk2 Astra (works car!!??) @ some point did he not???
  3. Neil, I think you should get the black wheels walloped onto your car[Y]
  4. A forgot to put a pic of my old min bin up[:$] Recently seen @ a classic Rally in Knockhill (pic taken by Del (Scoobay) which I used to Hillclimb and sprint in[:'(] wish I still had it sometimes
  5. Brilliant thread Geo[Y] Although, I'm finding it particularly difficult to find a favourite as upto and during the Group B supercars day there were hunners of top cars Audi S1 is probably my all time favourite but 6R4, Delta S4, RS200 which I have been in [], Manta 400, Chevette HSR, Celica GT4, Mk1 & Mk2 RS AVO's, Sunbeam Lotus, Pug T16, eh..............etc............... Then along came SUBARU! [au] Keep the pics coming guys[Y] its a real blast from the past. Gus[]
  6. Replied bud[Y]
  7. What car do you have? Might be interested in the Cat delete pipe. Not the one for you John[] like mine its a blobeye. So, as we know it dont fit!!!!
  8. PMSL yip must be over 4ft in height[][]
  9. The Sti Prodrive Downpipe sports cat is a bugger to fit on a WRX[] I believe Cal has tried and I've tried too and gave up in the end. You would be best going for the cat pipe and deresonated centre section IMHO. The centre section doesnt really increase noise with the Prodrive Backbox just the tone gives it a nice deep tone[Y] what Jimser is selling would be ideal if you aint bought the Sti stuff already. No remaps required with those changes[Y] Hope this helps Gus
  10. Welcome[Y] Hope you get sorted with the White Sti. I know a few people who will be jealous if you get that.............Me and ..................PaulC555...............and etc.... Cheers Gus
  11. FPMSL[] Aye right mate. I'm sure I could NOT!!!!! Happy New Year[]
  12. Here goes[8-|] 1) Take one windscreen and make sure it is clean and dry 2) With an able assistant place the sunstrip (with backing cover still attached) on the windscreen and mark to within a couple of mm of the windscreen edge around the sunstrip. Also, measure and mark the centre of the sunstrip and the centre top of the windscreen 3) Remove from the windscreen and with an ultra sharp blade trim the strip to size 4) Measure and mark the centre of the logo to be applied to the sunstrip 5) Lightly (and I say lightly) spray a mist of water on the sunstrip 6) with an able assistant remove the backing sheet from the logo 7) with the able assistant stretch the logo above the sunstrip and lay lightly on top of the middle of the sunstrip (matching up centres on both items) 8) with a flat edge ruler or edger press firmly on the centre of the logo and gently work to either edge removing water and air bubbles as you go (make sure each section is air and bubble free before continuing to the next) 9) once you have completed this process and the logo is attached to the strip then...... 10) lightly (and again I say lightly) spray a mist of water on the top of the windscreen 11) with an able assistant remove the backing sheet from the sunstrip 12) with the able assistant stretch the sunstrip and lay lightly on top of the middle of the windscreen (matching up centre of sunstrip with the top centre of the windscreen) 13) with a flat edge ruler or edger press firmly on the centre of the sunstrip and gently work to either edge removing water and air bubbles as you go (make sure each section is air and bubble free before continuing to the next) 14) ..........and once completed go around the edge of the sunstrip gently ensuring that the whole strip is sticking to the windscreen. 15) stand back and admire your work[] Please note* if you dont have an able assistant yer facked![][] Please also note* you could attach the sunstrip to the windsreen first and then the logo onto it once its fitted to the windscreen but, I personally think its easier to centre the logo on the sunstrip before applying to the windscreen. Up to you tho Hope that helps? Gus Note to Brian Rallye 6-Have I missed anything mate????[:S]
