thats the place. iirc the chap who built the church dedicated it to his mother hence the clock face. the village also contains a group of 'chocolate box' cottages - very picturesque thatched places that feature on many a box of chocolate and fudge u buy in uk gift shops. its also where one of the beacons was lit to tell england of the approach of the spanish armada in 1588. in 1988 we were all up on the beacon and we lit it again to celebrate 400 years of the victory we enjoyed over the spanish via drake. as well as all the other ones up the coast of england. you could see other from where we were.

they live on the edge of dartmoor. buckland in the moor.

well it was a cracking day down here so we planned a bbq with my parents on the moors. the first one ever for baby Marshall the dog enjoyed it to.
