To be honest mate you would need a fitting kit for the bug eye. Best thing to do would be to give Grant at AWD a ring and ask them if they do a fitting kit for it, im sure they will. It is very loud, scares people easily.....if that gives you an idea. You wont be discreet with this on.

Yup another vote from me aswell. Due my next service and mot next month and they will be top of my list. Also bought a couple of parts, mats etc and sidc dicount was given on them. First class.

Yeah maybe mate, My views come from personal experience when i wrote of my car, no other vehicals involved, nobody seriously hurt, I was totally honest with them and my insurance company, all damage to car and wall covered by insurance company (luckily I had protected no claims) I ended up getting points and a fine and charged with careless driving. So although they were polite etc you have to see my point being if I may have been 60 driving a sensible car, I may have not even been reported, but police, young lad fast car.....we'll screw him! Rant over. Glad they were fine with the old bloke....hate to see old folk getting done for driving cautiosly as usual

Grim news mate, This situation really pi$$es me off! Let me get this straight, some dozey old codger goes through a red light, proceeds to smash your pride and joy, admitts to the police he done it and they are not going to charge him! WTF! If the tables were turned you can bet your car that you would have been done for it! Thats just tipical of police nowadays..... I give up with police.....so inconsistent. Hope you get a new car out of it mate and I would be making a formal complaint about the officer(s) on site due to them not doing their job properly, a report should be submitted to procurator fiscal and let them decide if they want to prosecute or not.

Happy new year all! Away to top up my alcohol system...too much blood in it. Enjoy...

Advertisement on behalf of Bee.... You chance to own a unique MY98 Subaru Impreza Turbo. This car has been maticulously maintained with a money no object attitude with the car having circa £10,000 spent on it in my 3 years of ownership. Its a long story so I will list all points in order to detail the cars history. Photos can be seen here:- http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?...hlight=coulster Car was purchased in April 2001 with 65,000 miles on the clock and 3 previous owners. After 7 months of ownership the car suffered from 'piston slap' resulting in a £3,500 engine rebuild. Typical just one month out of warranty! Work was carried out by AWD Motorsport in Perth ( www.awdmotorsport.co.uk ) During rebuild the existing TD04 turbo was replaced with a VF23 STi 5 turbo Along with rebuild the following parts were added :- K&N 57i induction kit (air filter) Stainless steel Scoobysport downpipe Dawes Device (manual boost controller) Eibach 35mm uprated lowering springs Magnecor HT leads Turbo XS dump valve (loud) Shortshift gear lever Aftrer the succesful engine rebuild and running in period it produced 265bhp on the rolling road at Star Performance. Shortly after this in the search for more power the following parts were fitted again by AWD Motorsport:- FSE fuel regulator Walbro 255l/h uprated fuel pump Piggy back ECU Boost increased to 1.2 Bar After the engine work was completed and I was happy with the way the car felt I focused on the bodywork. This entailed a roundtrip of 800 miles to Scoobyclinic ( www.scoobyclinic.co.uk ) to undergo major cosmetic work to have the car looking like a MY00 facelifted impreza. The work included:- STi red/clear rear lights Full car respray excluding roof at a cost of £2,500 MY99 front headlights MY99 Boot spoiler MY99 Front bumper and grille MY99 STi fog light covers MY99 steering wheel Crystal side lights P1 replica front lip STi carbon fibre front strut brace MY99 front and side crystal indicators Red STi badge (on grille) Arches rolled to take 19" alloy wheels Set of 4 19" OZ superleggras with 215.35.19 toyo proxes ts Defi gauges incl Boost, oil temperature and oil pressure fitted in custom dash pod Defi boost controller situated in cupo holder location on dash Blitz NUR spec R exhaust system (£560 new) comes with bung Clour coded interior parts (as in photos) After cosmetic work was finished the car was put back on the rolling road at Star performance at an organised meet and produced with the 19" wheels on 293bhp with 266 ft/lb torque. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?...hlight=coulster Bad points....there is none...well apart from a dent in the roof caused by some idiot throwing a bolt at the roof. Damage can been seen in the photos available on request. Been quoted £200 to have the damage fully repaired. Going in on the 16th November to AWDMotorsport to have a Brembo 355mm brake upgrade incl callipers, disks, pads and braided brake lines costing £1100 which will be included in the price. Any questions or if you require more photos, e.g. log book, receipts for work carried out do not hesitate to contact me. Offers in the region of £11.5k Contact me at martinyoung79@hotmail.com

Yeah Carl is right, its Scoty off SN. I bought crystal side repeaters and indicators, took a couple of weeks to come but he did not leave me in the dark about the length of time it would take. Just keep at him, hes not a nasty bloke and will come good with the goods. Regards Scott
