Its a CEL fix. Not cell. Ok Your scoob has sensors in the exhaust system. If you remove the cat in the down pipe the scoob will show a check engine light. (CEL). Its the ecu telling you that there is a prob with the cat. Well we know this because the cat has been removed. So you will need a CEL fix to turn the check engine light off. You can run with it on, But if you get another prob with the engine you will not know because your light is already on.

I have a 03 wrx, Which I fully decatted two weeks ago. I was worried about over boost and hitting fuel cut with the de cat. I have found the scoob is fine. It boosts a bit more but only to about 1.2 bar.I think this is the best mod I have had done to date. But. You will need a CEL fix. If you do it, You will think why didnt I do this months ago.
