haha.......not quite that bad just yet, although if i keep it longer i could see a smoking jacket and pipe on the horizon
D- Day shall indeed be the rising of the Phoenix
That is exactly how the Merc feels now and reacts in the wet, good fun and a hell of alot more involving than the Impreza ever was. The instant power is nice too instead of the slight lag as the turbo spools up. Has been a nice change for me.
I take it the car is a write off?..........shame as i have always likes Supras. Atleast you did not have the little one onboard too.
Hope you get it all sorted out.
I Misread it...........point still stands though!!
Am no Angel by any means, in the past i have done some (when i looked back on) stupid driving. I have noticed that since i have come out of owning an Impreza that my driving has somewhat become more relaxed and i do not feel the need to go "balls to the wall" everywhere.
I love Imprezas but i wonder if i got another one if i would revert back to "balls to the wall" mode??...........maybe it is the car itself that brings it out in you!
I am not entirely convinced!!!...........
SEE THROUGH TIRES
Radical new tire design by Michelin.
These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon.
The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these.
Just think of the impact on existing technology:
A. no more air valves...
B. no more air compressors at gas stations...
C. no more repair kits...
D no more flats...
Video too - TWEEL
Well anyone who cuts a BLIND bend is asking for everything they get!
You can make good progress without taking silly risks........too many people see the red mist and get blinkered.......smoothe and progressive is the way ahead!
The roads were good yesterday and surprisingly quiet as i took a jaunt up the Rest, Invarary then out onto the A82, Tyndrum, back down the Lochside and in over the Faslane road...........nice little leg stretcher for the staff car!
Half way down the page it gives you fitments for 7.5x18 on the 22B........says the offset is 35mm
wheels
If you are wanting the wheel to sit out flush with the arch (look at a 22B and you will see the wheel sits just in from the arch) then you may need spacers and longer wheel studs (i needed longer studs on mine when i did it).
Hope this helps Chris.
