ive got a mate running a fleet of cars on lpg and theyre running brilliantly. freelander V6, shogun 3.5 V6, vw golf gti and previously a bmw 325. theres very little drop in power and perfomance and economy is great. though hes also very lucky in the fact that hes got his own tank on the farm (lucky devils getting his gas even cheaper)

as far as we were led to beleive he had probs on stage 1 with a broken drive shaft and then on the road section between stage 2 and 3 something happened to his front wheel that it was left sitting at a strange angle, needless to say he didnt make stage 3 start. i never heard if he managed to get to stage 4 or not though.

hopefully he's got it fixed again before then for you then not long back from Perth and Colin wasnt having a good day at all. the old ford was living upto is name well.... Found On Road Dead

Me and Scoobyandy did a fair bit of ground work for the cancelled run. Anyway we have come up with a nice drive round the Lothians and Borders that will take about one and a bit tanks of fuel (amount for a heavy modded car) to complete from start and back at a Optimax station. Run date: 02/10/05 Start Point: Lidl Foodstore carpark across from the Shell Petrol station in Musseburgh Start Time: 16:00 leaving 16:30 (Changed) Run length: 190 miles Run time: 3:30-4:00hrs including stops Other Information: Includes midway Optimax stop for the more modded cars requirements, pace will be kept fast and sensible. for those of you who like to play a little and dont mind a slightly "rougher" bit road i also have a bit i reffer to as my "rally track" its only a short section and a minor detour from the planned route. i would be more than willing to take any of you through it. if your interested we can discuss it on the night and you can let me know.. << Sorry to disagree corsa, but I believe that the Tour of Mull is THE original and Best closed road rally, it's just a shame the weather usually sucks >> well said m8. i was marshalling at Mull last year and it was fantastic. even better if you dont mind the cold, dark and midges. would do it again anytime as for Ireland... would love to go over to some of the events over there too. hear and seen alot about them and they look fantastic.

theres a body shop down in bilston industrial estate , main entrance turn first left right to bottom of road and then is in one of the units infront of you. hope this helps Andrew
