One of me and my workmates on a previous detachment to america. I'm the one in the middle with his hands in his pockets, ya know , the good looking one! -
For my53 wrx, i think mine has just about given up the ghost. Anyone know of anywhere in fife/dundee area that sell them at a reasonable price (i'e less cost than a subaru dealership). Thanks in advance, Mark.

I'd like to come along to the next one too, work permitting

Hello peeps, what are your thoughts on fitting this induction kit to my 53 wagon. The previous owner said there were no problems whilst it was on the car. He took this off along with hks gt top mount intercooler & ggr sports-cat downpipe. I've heard reports on this site to steer clear of induction kits but the previous owner had the same kit fitted to his previous wagon which apparently has now covered 70,000 miles with no problems. He also mentioned that on older model cars they were fitted with hot film meters and that the new age cars are of the hot wire type. Any help most appreciated, cheers, Mark.

Hello folks, whilst washing and polishing my car today, i armed the alarm, however, only one side repeater flashed. i then got in the car and tried the indicators, only one side repeater is working. Had a closer look at the repeater in question and found the plastic to be bulged as if the bulb has burned out. Is there a short? Could this cause my persistant battery flattening problem. Any ideas most welcome. I will also be getting the garage to check the back-up battery for the alarm when i take it in. Cheers!

Persistant Battery Flattening Problem

Thanks for that, will let the garage know when i book it in for a service next month, get them to look into it. -
Hello peeps, can anyone shed any light on this. If i don't run the car regularly ,leave the alarm armed(also 24hr tracker fitted)and leave it 4-5 days without starting, the battery runs flat. Took it to Eden Subaru about 3 months ago and explained the situation, they checked it out(thanks russ)and couldn't find anything wrong so just charged it 4 me. They said that on post 03 cars they are equipped with smart-charge which only charges the battery a certain amount. Is this the norm with the newer models or is it a new battery required. Any help most appreciated as it's getting right on my tits! cheers.
