There is always the possibility, that it could be an ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Reader). These are usually sited inside the vehicle on a revolving base. If it's that, i will read and check your number plate for tax and other things.......... Matt

Folks, just upgraded to a '53' reg new Sti Impreza! Am on the third one in 2 years now ! Not sure if anyone is interested, but i am selling the 'Lexus style rear cluster lights from the '02' bugeye shape. I also recently invested in some real 'PRODRIVE' front headlights - these are normally £600 new. I am open to offers on them. I shall put these up on the for sale boards, but thought i'd announce it to the masses first ! Cheers Matt

Lexus Rear Lights - Offer

Hi, Don't worry about the tinted windows ! - You are allowed to have all of them tinted (as i have) as long as it doesn't reduce your visibility by more than a certain % (what that figure is i don;t know), howeve to prove that, specialist equipment would have to be used and it is not worth prosecuting for all the time there are easier offences to detect (ie speeding, tyres etc). That said don't tint the front one from thew top by more than 33%, as this is a stone bonker offence ! I wouldn't worry about the lights (e) mark either. It takes a real fanatical traffic cop to detect this, and i would just plead ignorance ! Take it from someone who knows........! All the best Matt PS - I have Lexus rear light too, and found them cheapest on Ebay -
Ha ha !!! Always wanted to be the first to post this one - and now i have (purely because i am going to work at 05:45 on a Saturday !) Have a nice weekend all Matt

Hmmmmmm, I have had a go at doing this now and managed to remove the originals, with no problems at all. The PRODRIVE ones go straight in with ease, BUT..........ONly one of the four plugs fit straight on - this was the indicator. I think i will have to have new connectors fitted - which isn't my dept ! Oh well, won;t be doing that this afternoon. Scooby G - Email me on mattpuss@blueyonder.co.uk and we shall put you out of your misery !!!!!! Cheers Matt

Monday in Kent - My birthday ! I agree - they are better than most in the snow, but far from what you would think - hardly the snow plough i was expecting ! Matt -
Hi all, Have not been on here for ages, since the launch of my new business! Anyway, I have bought a set of second hane PRODRIVE headlights for my 02 STi and want to install them quick smart. Only thing is, there are no fitting instructions as they are second hand. I managed to install LEXUS style rear lightson my own, with relative ease, and hope tha the front lights are not too taxing. Question is, has anyone else done this, and will i encounter any pitfalls or tricky bits. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. What do people think of these - The Lexus ones were quite contraversial ! Now i have a set of Bug Eye - Sti fonr lights for sale, anyone interested ? Thanks Muchly Matt
