  1. Sad day m8 Hope nobody was hurt, you can always get another 22B All the best, Del
  2. End of season CRACKER!!!! This is an excellent event, normally over 100 crews with plenty of action.Wintry weather catches out quite a few, even the experienced ones A good contingent of Irish crews tend to be spectacular Hope this helps, cheers Del
  3. << Keith, I wear my A P I jacket all the time - it is great as my other one has disappeared - great for the winter I would love to have gone to the rally GB but I am unable to. Phil - I will not discuss the outcome of the tickets etc here as I have made my thought known on Scoobynet. Thanks for trying to contact me. Brian >> Hi Brian, I have posted my reply in scoobysnot policy, was most reluctant in doing so but had to be done.Their arrogance really pisses me off Del
  4. Hi Peeps, Will probably head up on Sunday, see you there Link Del
  5. So Brian, Although you won those tickets fair & square, you didn't actually win them not according to Scoobysnot moderators who have the power to move the goalposts whenever it suits.I am quite sure that if a plus member had sought to buy YOUR tickets then that would have been OK.This really STINKS of nepotism.I should have known there would be a catch to something off scoobysnot Anyway Brian its not your fault, hope to see you soon. Will probably go to KH on Sunday now, cheers Del
  6. Hi Brian, You could always flog them to me Del

  9. Hi guys, Just got back from rally, cracking day out. Saw safety car go off on 2nd stage, took an hour to get it out of the shuch!!! Driver,David Hardie was very embarassed As usual blame the navigator!!!!! First car through,an impreza driven by Roger Duckworth went off at the same point as safety car,he managed to get going again in a not to healthy state Rally was won by Barry Johnston/Stewart Merry - ex Solberg Impreza wrc lightweight version with rh front wing missing Will post some pictures later, Del
  10. Just noticed you posted sunday Grant, the rally is on saturday additional info is now available on SRC website: clicky Del
  11. Thanks for your reply Grant Anyone else fancy meeting up at New Galloway & heading down to Newton Stewart Del
  12. Hi Folks, A good turnout of cars tonight,13 if I counted correctly, oh!!!! & a couple of stunt bikes.Sorry that should read runt bikes Anyway, nice to meet some new faces & some different imprezas.I particulary liked the white classic with gold BK's & graphics, shame about those neons m8 Del
  13. Some stage info folks 10h01: Start Riverside Car Park, Newton Stewart 10h27: SS1 Borgan, 4.15 miles; 10h46: SS2 Glentrool, 14.07 miles; 13h18: SS3 Burnfoot, 4.62 miles; 13h30: SS4 Barneywater, 6.39 miles; 14h09: SS5 Black Loch, 15.61 miles; 14h56: Finish Riverside Car Park, Newton Stewart I would recommend Glentrool, which is around 7 miles north west of Newton Stewart. Take the A714 to Barrhill / Girvan. At Bargrennan take side road right past Glentrool village and the forest is north of the village with various accesses off the unclassified road. In addition to the times noted above (which are for the National 'B' event) the National 'A' competitors will return to do Glentrool a second time from 4:26pm. I wouldn't recommend trying to spectate in Borgan, Burnfoot or Barney Water. Black Loch is the only other stage I would recommend, but note that it is only visited once by both National 'A' and National 'B' competitors. It is a few miles to the north east of Newton Stewart off the A712 New Galloway road. Sorry I don't have any map references as yet, still nothing on SRC website, should be some in Motorsportnews on thursday/friday. Are you still going Grant? Spoke to a few interested parties at Ayrshire Meet tonight, main question asked was "how much to get in?" It's normally free entry to the stages although some of the forestry carparks are run by local groups/charities and carry a small donation roughly no more than a fiver per car Del
