Tragic accident involving 2 workmates at Pennyvenie Opencast occurred yesterday involving a 100 ton Terex dumptruck & a Landrover. They both leave young families. Deeply shocked as are all who knew them. Regards, Del

Crackin thread[Y], My all time favourite rally car has got to be the Escort in mk1 guise It's lasted the longest & seems to have made a big return to the forests in the last decade, 40 years this year which can't be bad. The group B cars were awesome to watch, unfortunate demise due to competitor & multiple spectator deaths. Current WRC cars are probably just as quick due to tyre/suspension/electronics/transmission advances.Downside is they won't be around much longer either. Just glad I've been fortunate to see them in action. Andrew Wood was always impressive in that old Audi. Del

Should be covered under warranty m8, make sure the bodywork services have been carried out & book stamped though. A good dealer should carry out a goodwill repair on this considering the age/mileage of vehicle even if the bodywork service has just been missed. HTH, Del

It pissssed down all day,quite a few new guys turned up to try out their new machinery. A few offs & a few near misses. This immaculate escort had a meeting with the tyre wall.

Not posting many pics on here at the moment due to the pants scrolling effects. Young David Bogie was out in his old man's 6R4 at Kames today practicing for tomorrows Christmas Stages Rally at Croft.

Having taken 2 days to get through password control on here I can now say that I'm not impressed with the new set up. It will take time for people to adjust to this new style & as usual there's always going to be teething trouble. eg. I just hope that the set up for photographs will change, reverting back to the latter setup would be much better IMHO. Dear Santa.............can you sort this?????????? Del [][]
