  1. Sounds good - do you any pics of the sexual item ? What other BB's do peeps recommend ? I want to hear my car without it being obtrusive @ 80 mph on the motorway Scoobysport ? Ninja jobbie ? TSL firestorm ? Mongoose ? Magnex ? H&S ? Any sound or video clips links would be much appreciated ? Thanks Cal
  2. Has anyone got any sound clips ? I know it's loud but is it LOUD ? thanks Cal ( Aberdeen based)
  3. * A82 between Inverness and Fort William @ 0700 hrs in a crisp induction friendly Sunday morning * The Crow Rd over the Campsie Hills * Stockiemuir Rd from Bearsden out to Drymen - known that road since I was 5 yrs old or so I would love to drive that road that resembles the Stelvio pass north of Ullapool ? 4. Damn ! Sounds very dodgy out there Joolsy ! I used to move semi-subs for a living and have seen some real ropey weather in my time. Typoon season in the Taiwan strait = huge weight loss after been sick as a dog for 2 weeks. I once spent 23 days moving an accomodation jack-up due to bad weather. If it was rough on tow on the Sedco rigs and your cabin was at the corner od the rig the toilets would sometimes flood the toilets..........wet carpets were never fun Keep safe out there folks ! Cal
  5. I am right in thinking that the PPP also entails swopping out your standard centre section so that you lose the second silencer in addition to getting a new less restrictive back-box ? I wouldn't have though that simply replacing the BB would free up many ponies ( plus 3 - 5bhp max from BB alone ?? ) Cal ( awaiting huge technical explanation from Granty )

  7. Brian - would ditching the BB alone produce a decent sound ? I heard an Sti box on it's on and t was fairly quiet. Suppose a C&C job would be a "freer" breather and therefore a tad noiser? Have used C&C before and they're spot on Cal
  8. << Always kept very clean, and always driven by a young lady, who I guess was the wife/girlfriend of the owner if he worked offshore (assuming she wasn't the owner). John >> Judging by the alloys she was a dubious parker - I knew some keen Scooby spotter in Aberdeen would have clocked the regi at some point. I've to wait a couple of weeks for my cherished transfer but will then be out and about with " G** CAL" Cheers Cal
  9. [q Nice on mate. Natalie finally came round to the idea then? >> Only after 12 months of badgering - now I need to persuade her on the mods ! Cal ( who badly needs to change his Honda avatar )
  10. Cheers guys and thanks for the welcome ( even though I've been lurking guilty in here before with the CTR) Jools - thanks for the offer. Bob from T&C took me out in a bugly with just the pro-drivve BB and I could barely hear the zorst althought it was slightly noiser than standard. Why are these buggies so quiet ? Is it just down the pleasing the American market or is the exhaust gases phased differently or something ? Ideally I need something that i can hear inside that car to let me know that the boxers at work in fron of my nose. The CTR's system was VERY loud so I need to hear the burble without pissing off the fiancee. That's if she even lets me mod it ! Would a C&C midpipe do the job if i left the stock BB in place ( i.e the fiancee would see no visual difference Maybe see y'all the next Abz meet Thanks again Cal p.s Jools - shall we have a 2nd crack at the clip of your car at Alford ? It may be the only audio visual momento of you titanium system you'll have soon ! I have the file ready for FTP upload and it's only 13 Mb if you don't mind joe public being able to view it ? p.p.s on another tangent ! Anyone got an idea what type of DV this guy has on his Scoob in this crackin' 'Ring video ? EDIT >> just noticed that the small text in the clip actually states that it's a Forge DV Go halfway down on the link below, its called "subaru imprezza ringspecial" ( wirh the download regardless ) DV Clip
  11. As of 1300 hrs today I became a Scooby owner Traded in the CTR ( which I will dearly miss ) for an 02 black bug-eye with morrettes conversion......... Got it from T&C Aberdeen after getting exactly what wanted for the CTR Likely paid over the odds but I like peace of mind buying from a dealer. The car belonged to an offshore worker and previously had the regi " DON ** V" Anyone know him ? He only did 31k miles in it in 2.5 yrs which ain't too bad So be prepared for many questions from my goodself. I knew when i joined this forum that calling my self anything Honda related ( e.g Cal CTR) would be a waste of time as I have wanted a Scoob since 5th year in school when my dad had a classic Scooby ( he's now got the 172 Cup that you see on track at KH). TBH I could afford way more but I have recently got engaged and was REALLY pushin' my luck to get this far ! Now i just need to get it insured before i pick it up next Thursday Looking forward to actually joining the SIDC and meeting more of you guys out there PICCY of new car Cheers Cal p.s I need an new exhaust - it's SO quiet just now . Any other mod ideas - burds not into high spoiler so may invest in the rear spoiler raisers to start with ? Dying to get the PPP and new pro-drive rims.
  12. Jools - how much do you want for the BB ? PM me if you prefer Cal
  13. Anyone interested before i go for private sale. Not looking forward to tyre kickers or dealers dubious advances hence plea. I'm ideally after an RB5 or P1 and can go some cash with CTR if need be Thanks Cal ( please PM if interested) ********************************************* Would you be interested in part ex for a Civic Type R ?
