Ozzy - Tyres are the same make and of same tread. I'm starting to think the previous Jap owner set this car up to have more drift like qualites. Smaller tyre diameter at the rear would mean they are more likely to spin up lose traction and drift the car. Especially with the DCCD set up fully open. Or I could be talking rubbish as its friday afternoon So what would be a good fast road setup? Looking at sorting out the bushes and droplinks soon, might get it all done at the same time

Cheers guys The car is fitted with Bridgestone Grid 2 215/45 ZR 17 (GD2f7) at the front and 215/40 at the rear? Why would the previous Jap owner do this? Makes the car feel twitchty when driving fast. I can also light up the rears when doing 60-70mph in third with a damp road, squirms all over the lane. Surely my Scooby should have better grip than this??? PS, all tyres have tread left. Recomendation for new tyre setup for me try, Toyos??

Hi Guys Where can I get my wheel alignment checked as my car is VERY tail happy at the moment. Go round a gentle corner at sensible speed and she just steps out, like touching the breakes on a FWD car. Thats with the DCCD set forward a few notches aswell (just below orange setting). Also the rear tyers are a different size to the front, they're skinner than the fronts. I'll get the exact tyre size during my lunch hour. Basicaly my 98 Type R is behaving more like a RWD than 4WD. Its fun driving/drifting about on open roads but I've got to have my wits about me at all times.
