hi m8, the cam belt is the belt that you cant see it actually runs the mechanics of the engine. do you know if the cambelt has been changed in the cars lifetime? how old is your car? if you look in your service history book it will give you all the intervalls at which most components need replacing or inspecting. the belt that runs the power steering belt also probably runs your alternator too. check this service shcedule out . it tells you whats due and when..as long as yours is a classic service schedule
