ok folks! i will be organising the KENT part of the relay probably tying up with the ESC. please check out thread below. can you all come up with a few ways of collecting funds for this event. we need to organise a few fund raising events right up to the main relay on may 6/7th. i will probably need some help sorting this too so any volunteers please step forward RICHARD BURNS CHARITY RELAY thanks for spending the time to read this. 17/01/06....update. we now need to start making a few plans for this event as it will soon be upon us. i need some feedback from you ALL on some fundraising events. i hope to speak to as many of you as i can on friday at our january meet. dean UPDATE.......PLEASE READ.(01/02/06) As a Regional Organiser for the SIDC, I will be doing my bit to organise support for the event in kENT. As the convoy will pass us via the M25 anti-clockwise sometime on the Saturday, we intend to join up at a suitable point in order to do our bit, and hand over our donations. If you want to do the full route, then that can be arranged. Any car taking part is going to have to pre-register at a cost of £5.00, and will be supplied with 2 RBMR stickers for use during and after the event. Profits will go to charity. Any car not pre-registered and displaying the said stickers will be deemed not part of the relay as far as the organisers and police are concerned. I will be collecting your details and the funds - so come to a meet soon if you want to take part.
