I fitted a P1 backbox to mine yesterday but before i did i couldnt resist having a listen to it without, it was NUTS so ive decided to lobby the goverment to make all backboxes illegal, dont know what the green party would say as there was a bit of a wiff of petrol but it was worth it. As soon as i get the recording i made off it off my phone ill post it up (some how).

cheers guys, its the one with P1 on the side that im getting and im just going to put it on with the standard centre section to start with, but decatt sounds tempting

is it the same backbox as the one you would get fitted as part of a PPP on a my00 classic? also would there be much performance difference? or whould i need a decat center section and/or remap to notice anything? cheers for any help

another tyre question, ive just had 4 205/45/r16 F1s fitted then relised that they should have been 205/50/r16. i know about the speedo differance but will this give my uneven tyre wear? im about to get camber and toe checked will it be worth changing the settings? ive read in the faq about the change prodrive do what would this change do to the tyre wear? any help welcome.

just remembered a while ago i got asked one of the lads off here to email me a copy of the alarm booklet if you post your email address ill have a look to see if it is still stored some where and send it to you.

with the ignition on press the alarm fob once, then turn off ignition exit car shut door and press again(as you do normally) i think

i was looking through my receipts that i got with the car the other night, as you do and one was for a set of brake pads for the front end priced at £47 and these are the larger ones fitted to late classics. it didnt state what make but the product code started minmd.... so maybe mintex. i dont know about disk prices but both are a peice of p1ss to fit (1/2 hour a side), i bet you could do it for less than £150. if your not confidant to do it yourself take them to a side street garage and they will probebly only charge you £50 and do it while you wait. only a thought, i will be ringing around the part suppliers when mine are due

biscuit, no cant beat that im at 1 wash per week. but its due a zymol this weekend, that must count for at least 5 washes.
