    I do wonder about getting down the car place this weekend and start giving her a big clean! When need to let them know im coming down but it would then mean i could get them to move another car and i could give her a good wash and tidy up and possible give the upholstery a bit of a clean as well

    Well as my car is finally well and truely on its way to being put back together and brought back to life, I felt it was only right that i should learn how to drive and today was my first lesson for some time! I had a hesitant start and stalled the car in front of my work mates so know i will get some ribbing tomorrow for that but i will then tell him hes an inpatient offf who should know better then going up close to the back end of a learner in a works van ! I have to say though that i finished the lesson on what can only be discribed as a high, I hadnt forgotten as much as i thought and i completed a bay park between a beamer and clio in a full car park without hitting the cars ALL BY MYSELF! What has given me a bigger boost is that the instructor thinks i could pass by easter!!!!!!! I think he is being over confident!

    You could always buy the caliper paint from halfords and remove the wheel and paint them yourself - its not to differcult and if you look in the technical section i am sure there is a step by step guide on how to remove them first etc

    Even though we will be holding a sunday lunch meet to celebrate the South West Regions 3rd birthday, i am also holding our usual monthly meet as well as we have many members who work weekend or cant make the other meet due to other commitments. This will be held:- Date:- Friday 29th February Place:- Sun Inn, Marlborough Road, Nr Coate Water Roundabout, Swindon Time:- 7.30pm onwards I will be taking payments for the forth coming shows and events, and this is the LAST OPPORTUNITY to pay for your space at Performance Car Action Day, @ Castle Combe, so don't forget those cheque books and pennies. We will also be having a small fundraiser at this event to raise money for club funds as we require some items ready for show season including a new flag as our last one was damaged during the winter months when my garage was flooded and the flag was beyond repair.
