Congratulations to all of the south west scoobies for their amazing charity donations and fund raising - you should be all very proud of yourselves. Over £100 donated by members to Cancer Research Uk - Who will be sending a certificate and letter of appreciation out to us, Over £125 which was later made up to a fantastic £150 by louise and jaminrats parents for the Mc millian nurses at the Mustard Tree Cancer unit @ Plymouth Hopital Raffle went down well with lots of support, Childrens tombola went down extremely well with the children and the cakes were going "like hot cakes!". Was great to catch up with so many of you again and thanks to those who took charge of the convoys whilst ed, liz and i got to the show ground for 6.45am to start setting up.

Be careful on motorway as whiltshire police have stepped up their traffic watch and are looking NOT ONLY for speeders but non use of signalling from lane to lane, checking lights etc

we have around 15 cars registered for this event but due to the weekend its being held on alot of members are either at JAE or attending Rally day at castle combe

the festival of mottoring is in aid of cancer research uk, at present we have about 28 cars attending from all over the south west. We still have spaces available. the cost is a min of £2 to cancer research on the day but of course you are allowed to donate more if you so wish. Lots of things to do. this is the original email recieved from the organisers to jacqui:- "Dear Jacqui I am writing to you on behalf of Cancer Research UK and a car show titled ?Southwest Festival of Motoring? which we would like to invite you and Southwest Scoobies to. The event is supporting the charity and we would love to welcome you on board in our specialist Japanese section. The event is taking place on Sunday July 16th at Taunton Racecourse and is completely free of charge to invited exhibitors. We have a vast amount of space at our disposal (35 Acres!) so please feel free to bring along as many of your members as you like! Confirmed entries need to be back by June 1st and exhibitors cars need to arrive by 9am on the day with the event finishing at 5pm. I have attached an official invitation for your club and an entry form for you to return with your total numbers. wiltshire police are doing a crack down on the motorway. They are starting to pull people for not indicating when going from lane to lane, dodgying drive, lights not working, and speeding. go careful guys

Thanks Rae, its really hard but someone has to be married to him............. Nah only joking, hes the best thing that has ever happened in my life and even though the past 8 years have had some very hard periods we are now starting to get our lives together as a couple in new and wonderful way.
