I seem to recall someone mentioning that during development by prodrive on the STi PPP they kept popping engines when the boost was increased beyond 1.3 bar and I would of thought the WRX would be a little lower again. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me but I'm pretty sure this is the case. Not sure what the fuel cut point is though on this model although a remap will eliminate this problem anyway.

Can't find a guide at the moment but I'll keep looking. Heard lots of good things about David Hendry. Sounds like you've got a nice car their all be it with a few teething problems. Cleaning is just really a case of removing and giving a good spray with carb cleaner and putting back togeather carefully also check that everything under neath is free to more. Another thought that springs to mind is a possible airleak. Can't remember if you said whether the idle settles once warm or if it stays very low?

It's on top of the inlet manifold I'll try and find a guide or piccie for you. It's a little grey device with 2 screws holding it in place and a multiplug attached. Have you tried cleaning the throttle position sensor. It can be done with brake/carb cleaner. If you do a search you should be able to find a guide on here somewhere. Any other problems other that idle? By the way hello and welcome to the club!

With Rally Germany comming up (11-13/08/06) I've been trying to find the TV listings but not having much luck. Nothing on ITV sport and Eurosprt only list Rally Finland. It would appear that Rally Germany does not exist. Does anyone have the times/dates for these as I want to setup the Sky Plus box to record them asap cos I always forget?
