  1. Can`t really divulge the true figure hoped for due to our competitors watching
  2. Stephen, it`s a 1.4cc 16 valve Bowyer developments racing engine running Jenvey throttle bodies,3 high pressure fuel pumps, swirl pot and two pressure regulators!!! Will try and upload a video link taken from a phone on the rollers last night.
  3. Both of them stay within 5 miles of my hoose, both very nice i may add.
  4. Just back after a dissapointing run on the rollers. Car as we thought was running fine but the power band kept showing dips, adjusted the pressure regulator but to no avail. Further investigating shows that the engine is not getting enough fuel to run to the supposed figures. It will mean a re-map and further runs on the rollers to gain the required figures. Even though the car still drives like a train and is ready for its first two events at Crail therafter the engine will be coming out for some pre planned tweeksand after that the remap and a full session on the rollers. Dissapointing figure of 175 BHP and 135ftlbs torque. Remember folks its a 1.4cc 16 valve. Big thank you to Stuart at Robinson Tuning in Cambuslang. 0141 641 1199

  6. Watch this guy take the pi$$ out the traffic cops fleeing from them on his motorbike. wheelie good getaway and a BTT for a crackin thread
  7. We are at last going to have the one and only CORSA on the rollers to see what the power output is before we get the engine upgrade. Will let the interested parties know the outcome Looking forward to see the P2WR

  13. Still not sure if i am down in Englanshire next week but if not then i will be there. davie
  14. I have voted too and hope the meet polis dont pay me a visit while i am sleeping
  15. << Funny im sure it says Stepps at the top. my eyesight must be going or sumfin eh? >> Whatever. your the boss.
  16. 1. Billyboy 2. Vicki 3. ed209 4. WRCno1 5. Ally B 6. Gumball 7. FAI17 8.CORSA Oh go on then it should be fun. Hillington i take it?
  17. Most blacksmiths/fabrication firms would be capable of the above. We used to use Gilmours Engineering in Cambuslang (next to Budget). If you cant get anybody closer to you give me a shout and i can get the contact details of a few fabrication shops for ya. davie
  18. The full 2006 Scottish tarmac rally Championship dates have been e-mailed to you Al. davie
  19. On topic please ED . This is now a serious thread.
  20. << It doesnt matter a damn where we go.None of you are ever happy. Rant over suggestions puleeze. >> Maybe if you would take the time to read the previous replies Billy the suggestions have been made !! Please do not put the onus on the members to decide what happens and where, this is what the positions of the ROs are. Are they not? we are happy just need to be organised. getting there though. Good to see you back online Billy and hope you enjoyed your xmas and new year break which no doubt has countless suggestions for the 1st part of the year? Looking forward to hearing them all at the Glasgow Meet. Where has the Glasgow meet thread dissapeared to BTW?
  21. Oh sorry i also meant to say it is not a dig Billy just another pair of hands to help out help if required.
  22. Totally agree with you there Chris, stepps is not the handiest place to meet the Glasgow boys, unless youre name is Karps who stays 2 mins away(no offence Noel). What about keeping these brain numbing meetings where nobody talks and no organising is addressed to a specific date of the month bearing in mind Ayr meets are at the same time every month!!! What about East Kilbride? What about Busby? What about Newton Mearns? What about Paisley? What about Dumbarton/Helensburgh? What we need to do is go the the people because the way it has been going in the past is not encouraging new members at all and in most cases losing members attendance. I remember the meets of old 3years ago when i met the original bunch ( you know who you are) and we were made to feel welcome. The last meet i attended i thought to myself if i was a new member and made to sit here like a total pr!ck would i return. NO. Lets ALL make an attempt to help out our ROs and make suggestions to them and address the new members and those we have not met before. Good thread starter for 2006 Chris. Davie
  23. Stephen, i will try and get a vid of the lancia Stratos on tar for ya. davie
  24. << I have retired from being a moderator. I'll post as much pish as everyone else now. >> Are you sure? there is a fair amount of it .
