Don't worry so much aout the "Money" as I was planning to use my own "Money" and not your "Money". I'm looking for people who can give there constructive comments rather worry about what I need to spen to achieve the "Goal". Whilst I don't have a "Money" tree I will pay what is needed to get the job done. I only bought the car with one purpose, and that was to tune it. As said earlier if I have to, I will change the bottom end and buy the other parts needed. I just need someone to put it all together. The car is not a daily driver it's mearly a project/hobby/fun car, used at the weekend or trackday. Any takers? If I have to buy a set of spanners and a torque wrench, there will be a very scary Scoob on the road. (lol) Chris It was actually a lighthearted look at what most of us on here spend most of out time, and most of our money doing, and I can assure you, you would have to prize my money from my cold dead fingers, it was by no means non constructive and if you took the defensive pose there which you obviously did then thats your problem. If you are from Broxburn then I know a man in Rosslyn who can build you a bullet proof engine to the price you name, he can also help with turbos, exhausts intercoolers injectors etc etc. He is not a buisness but an enthusiast who comes highly recommended, He also makes big brake kits. And he is an engineer not a dabler or a member of the 555 pavement modification squad. If your interested PM me and Ill pass you his details. Callum W I accept your post as being "Lighthearted"[] please do likewise of mine. As many people who know me in person, I am a very light hearted type of guy and hate's conflict with abode. But I have to ask you this!, WTF is the 555 pavement modification squad? (lol)[]

Hi Again John, Lets say I would settle for 350 (ish), how do I go about getting this kind of power?, What will I need? Here is what I came up with....... Gruppe GT spec headers (With up pipe) Full s/s 3" exhaust (no cats) Fuel pump & fuel reg 20g turbo (Andy F) Front mount IC (Harvey) or other equal. Intake system (Cone filter or like) -Will this mean I will have to isolate it from the engine comparment due to warm air intake? Injectors (perhaps pink STI)- (or rewoked ones from Andy) Any comments are welcome... Chris

Hi John It's not a daily driver, I'm also not to bothered if I have to change the bottom end plus add all the additional parts, just need the right bod to help me! Cheers Chris

Hi and best regards to all, <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I have been around Subaru’s for a few years now and have owned 5 including this present model. In between Subaru’s an E46 M3, CClass Merc, and a 300bhp <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /> Focus ST which my wife now uses as her daily driver. Can’t explain why I’m back to Subaru, you just seem to miss them, none more so than No 276 “22B”. After an altercation with a white van man, I believe that 276 is back in fine fettle and up for sale. Scooby No 5 is a MY99 WR Sport with every possible Prodrive extra that was available at the time. The records show a retail price of 31k!. This car was owned from new by Prodrive and was used as a development car for future models “I’m still waiting to hear back from Prodrive to confirm what level of testing/development the car was used for and how may time times they ragged it to an inch of it’s life!!. The car has covered a mere 68k and the records show this to be accurate, although the steering wheel seems pretty worn, probably due to the car spending a good part of it’s life getting chucked about during it’s Prodrive ownership. As the car has no warranty and probably doesn’t pull as briskly as she once did, I think it’s time for some mild tuning, just to give her a wee lift. 400-450bhp with an equal portion of torque is what’s called for, to make a fast road car with track day potential. There are some issues with doing this to the car, one being I know absolutely f***all about cars. Thats’not to say I don’t know a crank shaft from a prop shaft, I just mean a spanner work is best left to those who possess the art of mechanical fettling. And mapping left to the boffins who understand boffiness!. I have none of these skills! and care not to break nails and bust knuckles!, nor do I wish to understand hexadecimal or binary code’s or anything more complicated that can’t be worked out on a “NONE” scientific calculator. Most of you have heard of the site www.22b.com , anyone who hasn’t should take a look. The simplest of post is met with more information that contained in encyclopaedia Britannica. Honestly some of the post are mind blowingly complex and only the very well versed will have a clue what the hell they are on about. Well enough of beating around the proverbial shrubbery, I need the right person to take on the project from start to finish, getting what I want from the car and making the thing happen, there is no way on GOD’S earth I can do this without the skill’s of an experienced tuning body. My question is thus!. Is there a person that can/will take this on and see it to it’s conclusion?

I think the show is very poor now, they seem to be filling in the time with daft, pointless race's and very little about car's, perhaps they should cut the show to 30min and do way with the clowning around! IMHO. 22B

Cheers John, Hope to get things on the move this week, all signs pointing to the new car direction, but with insurance companies you can never tell. However should she be fixed and arrive back on my door step, they better be sure its a 100%, Cos I would hate to be there worst customer. Thanks to Derek at AF nobles for the help and support, and also to Phil for the phone call. Chris
