  19. Well it seems we may have finally sorted out the running issues I've had with the car lately, Simon (JGM) came round yesterday to switch the lambda sensor back on after i changed it When we were driving he noticed that it was reading lean all the time (was reading rich last time) and he didn't want to leave it like that as the ECU would probably want to chuck in a load of fuel to compensate After a bit of head scratching i suggested could the old CEL fix that was fitted by Xtreme Scoobies a few years back when i first had a decat be the problem as this was a resistor across 2 of the wires leading to the ECU Simon removed the resistor and rejoined the wires and away we went again and now the lambda sensor was changing from rich to lean to rich etc as it should be The car now drives a lot better and now does actually idle without any hunting so fingers crossed it's all sorted I would like to say a big thank you to Simon for his patience in dealing with this issue and hopefully the next time i see you will be for a bit more power (meths)
  20. Sorry i missed this again, gonna make a effort to go next year as the last 2 times i went a few years back were a great laugh although i'm not sure if my car was OK as i seem to have flames coming out the back
  21. We would like to organise a Kent Scoobies 2010 calendar for members, and would be pleased to receive a couple of high quality photos of your car for consideration. It would be nice to have 12 different versions (1 for each month if possible), with a photo of Jon and Arron's rally car on the front cover. We don't have long, as Christmas will soon be here, so if you would like your car to be considered, please e-mail your hi resolution photos ASAP (within the next 3 days), to ian.mitchell44@ntlworld.com or dean@kentscoobies.co.uk I will post up an update once I have more information. It would also help if I had an idea how many of you would be interested in buying a calendar. The cost is likely to be around £10.00. As there are a variety of designs, it would be helpful to have 2 photos in portrait and 2 in landscape.
  22. Thats great news Dean Now wheres that list of things i need doing on the car
  23. Yeah but yours is standard
  24. Go spoilerless
