I didn't know anything about them at the time. >> OK you say you want a STi I drove a standard blobeye STi the other day and i know i've done a few mods to mine but the STi felt nowhere as fast as mine so it shows what can be done to a WRX and theres a bit more to come (hush hush) Also the money you would lose trading yours in could be put to making you car faster than a STi Just my opinion but in the end it's down to you

If your car runs better on optimax then use that, mine seems to run fine on both but i use tesco's most of the time as it's cheaper

Shell optimax or Tesco's 99 ron superunleaded

The 5 speed box's should be good for about 300lbs torque & 320-330bhp, so like me you are on the limit of what the box can take , the 6 speed is a good (but very expensive) option as they seem to handle at least 400bhp and there are quite a few with 500+ bhp.
