Interesting comment Ian - I never thought it would affect the running quite like that. I have the baileys VTA - I don't mind the whoosh noise as it's not really loud but it can be really annoying when i'm on the motorway as it seems to ssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh constantly when i'm driving between 70 -80 even though I am way off boost at about 10-15 psi vacuum. It didn't really affect the car running that much although it did make the car a bit jerky on part throttle but when i did put the standard D/V back on the car just felt smoother []

I reckon it's gonna go for a lot more than that

I'd keep the standard D/V, don't know about the boost controller though

Just realised No-Dents Matt Burrgess was the bloke that came and did my car, can highly recommend him [Y]

I agree and seeing as most people on here use photobucket there is a easy way round it, when people upload pics to photobucket there is a option for the size, choose message board (640 x 480) then when the pics appear in a post they will load quickly and be a decent size so you won't have to scroll the page to see all of the pic []

All i can say is keep the standard one or go for a forge recirculating D/V not VTA (woosh sound type), been there and done it, had the VTA D/V on for the flamer but in the end i went back to the standard D/V and the car seems to run smoother and better [Y]

If i'm 100% honest i prefer the standard dash but it's your car and if your happy with it thats all that matters, and it can't be bad for £10 [Y]

You should of asked yesterday we could of done a swap, but i can tell you that the rubber part that sits onto the intercooler is a lot deeper on your forester than on imprezas so you may have to make something up to fit a STi intercooler
