  2. Well you shouldn't let it get in that state, you must clean it more often
  3. Went through Blackwall tunnel yesterday and noticed that they now have spec speed cameras at the entrance & exit of the northbound section but as yet nothing on the soundbound section
  4. Heres pics of my dad as well, but he wasn't allowed to drive the Kent Scoobies Lambo
  5. They are different ECU's for classics & newages
  6. I think the Cadburys Dairy Milk ad is better, what made me laugh about it was it was show just before terminal 5 opened
  7. Think anti lag is built into the ECU, it just needs to be activated
  8. Thanks for the day out Hugh
  9. To be honest the Lambo didn't seem that fast, it didn't have the kick in the back you get with the Scooby, the Audi did seem faster but not blindingly faster and yes i did have my right foot planted down on the go-go pedal
  10. Sounds cheap, don't forget to add the cost of mapping
  11. Just as well you didn't phone about a hour earlier
  12. I washed mine today, well sort of, it rained when i was coming down the M1 and it got rid of all the dust on the car
  13. And i passed it a couple of times
  14. Happy Birthday Stiggy how was Japfest
  15. Must say i was a little disappointed with the Lambo, it didn't seem that fast and the gearbox was very jerky and it even jumped out of gear on a down-change although i could easily get used to the paddle shift, the best bit of the Lambo was the noise, it was a close call between the Audi & the Lambo as they both sounded great but the Lambo was just that little bit better Now the Audi was a different car, it's a much more focused car, it had a manual gearbox that was very clunky but it was a faster car and seemed more planted than the Lambo and the brakes were awesome, if i had to choose between the 2 (i wish) then it would have to be the Audi Vorsprung durch Technik Oh yes look at the concentration on my face, i was actually listening & trying to do what the instructor said

  17. OK everyone here are the meeting times Meet at the Wharf 5.00am leaving at 5.30am, this should give us plenty of time to get there without rushing Please remember that a McRae Gathering Sticker will be required to participate in ANY part of the weekend's events, not just to gain entry to Prodrive. If you want to just be part of the convoy then leave or join the convoy part way then you MUST carry an official sticker on the front of your car and you must register your details on the McRae Gathering website ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sunday 31st August Cars from all over Europe will converge on the Banbury facilty for 10am (Marshalls to be on site at 9am) Prodrive will open the SWRT workshops, open the Heritage centre, fire up some of Colins cars and have a BBQ on the go with the obligatory Bacon Butties. The main group will leave Banbury at 12 noon, hopefully led by N1WRC (this is subject to the car being taxed and MOT'ed), and join the M40 at Jct 11 westbound heading for Jct 15. Hopefully we can get the convoy from Point A to Point B in about an hour From 1pm until 5pm the group will be located at Prodrives Warwick test facility Only cars bearing the official sticker will be allowed access to the Test Facilty. A checkpoint will be set up both at the gates of the Warwick facility and where the convoy leaves the A4177 about 2 miles from the gates of the test facilty Prodrive are looking into to arranging some driver demo's and hopefully will be offering Pax rides with Prodrive test drivers on varying disciplines like the skid pan and the adverse handling track. Due to Insurance restrictions only Prodrive employees will be able to take Prodrive cars out on track. All the attendee's at Warwick are to be parked on the main runway of the airfield. Please note that ALL participants will have to carry a sticker somewhere on the FRONT of their car so they are clearly obvious to the Marshalls. This can be on paintwork or glass (for those who don't like putting stickers on paintwork!), but it must be obvious to smooth traffic flow into the Prodrive facilities. Because of that, you may wish to order two so you have a temporary one up front for the weekend and a permanent one to display on your back windscreen, stickers can be purchased from HERE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Kent Scoobies will aim to be at Prodrive for 9am so we will be meeting at the Wharf, not sure exactly what time yet Please add your name to the list below if you are attending 1. Granby 2.
