  2. Pete, dont really know what i'm looking for this time, don't know if you seen my last splitter but i want one that isn't as deep at the front this time as it hit almost everything it went near...............those 2 you put up are smart, where are they from...? Del.
  3. Thanks all, stripped it back out and cleaned, washed and dryed the area(hairdryer)siliconed the holes, refitted the spoiler and put rubber washers over the bolts on the inside before the steel washers, also put a band of sticky foam all around the edge of the spoiler and got a better fitting gromit for the brakelight.....looks as if it should have done the trick. Used an Aquavac to hoover out all the water and dried all the interior of the boot....only thing is the wheel cover and carpet smell of dampness so they're getting a good airing at the moment. Hopefully that will be the end of it,cheers. Del.
  4. As above i'm in need of a new front splitter for my Buggy.....anyone know of any good products out there(not overly expensive tho). I drove of from my house a couple of weeks ago, turned two corners and came to a t junction where they had dug up the road and not put enough tarmac back in the hole so it had created a dip due to level of traffic going over it.Was in a bit of a hurry so did not see the raised protruding manhole cover and WHACK!!! my front splitter is in 12 bits.GUTTED. Cheers in advance. Del.
  5. Hello all not been on for donkeys due to work (and not being able to get in to the forums, till i worked it out)...as above i fitted a new spoiler a good while back(when the weather was good)and sealed it with the gear that came with it,problem is it didn't work so i have water coming in to the boot.If i strip it out,can i seal the holes with silicone and put my spoiler back on....will this work. Cheers Del.
