Hi, *Was not sure if I should put this in the for sale section or not!* I'm selling my 1/5th scale FG Marder, this is a large scale 26cc 2 Stroke powered off road buggy, its the race version so comes with Aluminium over sized shocks, the bigger engine, fibre disk brake and a few other items that I can't remember off the top of my head! :-) Its had approx 4-5 hours use, will run 45 mins on a full tank of Unleaded fuel mixed with 2 stroke racing oil, Its in very good clean condition, always starts with no probs using its choke, will come complete with ALL radio gear, inc tranmitter, receiver, Servos and on Board battery pack - add fuel charge battery and ready to roll. Cost new well over £700 (with Radio gear and servos) will accept £300 Only selling as looking to get another 1/10 th scale truck and the Marder is not used. Hi, Does any-one know if there is any "Track-day tasters" (the 25min sessions that some tracks hold) coming up in the South? I can see from the Trackdays forum that one has been and gone but I missed it! [] Would love to attend one before 'splashing' out for a full or half day! Cheers Dave

Luckily my wife is German (no she does not have hairy armpits!! [] ) I just got her to watch it, basically the kid is waiting for some kind of online game to start, and gets a bit errr irritated at the load times, finally he gets the game loaded and online and he starts chanting and swearing at another player, then he gets shot and killed! Hello mate, you could always look out for a WRX with the PPP (Prodrive performance pack) - which obviously has an edge over the standard WRX, I own one after selling my 03 CTR. I loved my CTR but the main issue I had with it was its lack of torque! (and it sounding like being in a baked bean can) Stepping into the WRX was a compltely differant drive, you tend to ride on the torque delivered by the turbo and don't have to thrash it like a Honda, so it takes some getting used too. I get around 220-240 miles per tank, some of that pootling to work in traffic, some playing! [6] I definately notice the differance when my mates are in the car...if you think about how much all those passengers weigh..probably about 36+ stone...thats like driving around with the boot full of bags of sand! Definately impressed with the Impreza, its the second one i've had, never had any problems with either apart from a flat battery this morning! [] ECUTEK remap is about £600 and would add at least 30bhp to a bog standard WRX (with no reliability issues)

Well this is certainly strange!! About 1 1/2 hours ago I attempted to change the battery on my MY02 WRX, when I disconnected the existing virtually flat battery the OE alarm started going off (I kinda expected this..and makes the job 10 harder) anyway I quickly found out my new battery did not fit as the terminals were the wrong way round so re-connected the orignal battery and the alarm instantly silenced.. Now here is the starnge bit, as soon as I had re-connected the battery my neighbours 5 series BMW alarm started going off, and he can't switch it off!?!..he can even start the car and drive it but the alarm will not stop - I last heard him driving off down the road with it still sounding...a co-incidence I thought, then about 10mins later I hear another alarm going off and its another neighbour trying to start her MGTF!!...she eventually turned the alarm off and started it, then you gussed it, another neighbour comes out and couldn't unlock his Vectra!?.....whilst I am typing this I can hear another alarm going off down the road on a Chrysler people carrier, the bloke is trying to unlock it! Never seen anything like it!...*Thinks of James Bond Golden eye* Do you reckon my alarm sent out some kind of signal that has interferred with other alarms?...

What a load of immature cr@p! Well if your 15- 17 and want to talk about who you raced around your local town and in Mc Donalds car park in your Astra(van) or Nova..seems like a good site Actually I reckon I saw one of the forum users on the weekend - A manky o'l XR2 was sitting in front of me at a roundabout, he pulled off and I pulled off behind him, I put my foot down slighlty to get across the roundabout in time, the chap in his Fiesta saw this and thought I was trying to "play races with him" so his passenger (of about 15) turned aroud and waved at me as if to say bye, the driver floored it leaving behind a massive cloud of blue smoke and roared off down the road and ran a red light....oh so cool.

I went on Saturday, was a nice show..although I was getting pee'd off with the "commentator" waffling on non-stop... There was some very nice Impreza's there, I especially liked the Purple/Blue Classic shape out by the "Winners Circle" in the SIDC stand! - I'll see what pics get posted later as I also have a few. BTW did any-one else have problems with arming their alarms via their key-fobs in the car park? - Mine wouldn't work and I'm sure I noticed some-one else having probs... Dave
