this fire is on all cylinders randomly ....after doing much reading on american scoobies have some more insight ....the coil pack has 4 wires ....12v, ground, igniter and trigger ...and i think their wired to the battery where most of the wiring loom cables go to a large connection then run to the syvecs ....some of the connections and wires are really rusty and voltage isnt flowing down the cables properly so one or all must be expanding when hot ....its droping off current to coil ..there is continuity...im gonna try cleaning it up......fingers crossed!!

yeah i dont have a maf sensor ..

its not the piston rings cause would have no compression surely ...has 150 psi on each cylinder!!!

Hey guys ...got a misfire on my p1 ...been driving me crazy ....many people have looked at the car and failed to fix .....there must be a knight in shining armour out there some where who knows the answere to this question ....the car has been off the road for five months and is driving me crazy ....why ...why description of fault :when cars is warm ...if you turn the engine off and directly on again ...the vehicle then misfires ...narrowed it down to coil pack ....has low voltage across coils ...intermittent from cold the car runs perfect ..no problems parts checked .....has syvecs ecu ...and nothing shows as faulty ....just low voltage drop off etc: parts checked or changed: coil pack leads ecu all sensors fuel system dyno everything please read this any advice would be great : cheers andy

............keep it rear wheel drive make it 330bhp and it will be a scooby drift king ....apparently subaru are specifically designing it to make it the most tunable subaru yet!!!!! and if its rear wheel drive it might make it to the british touring car racing .... nice to see they know their niche market well!!!!....bring on the beast >>>>when r they gonna remake the p1 !!!!

yeah ive got it on my p1 ..its by far the loudest dump valve by far and gives the best sound ...i removed the cover under the bonnet ..seems to make it that bit louder.....its much louder than the twin trumpet one from turbo smart more reliable than bailey and blitz ......it lasts forever and seems to require virtually no greasing etc....i give it 10/10

yeah ..thats it ...cant be to hard to put a retaining clip in there ....maybe the fabricating workshop ..could do that...... its stupid though these brakes cost £2000 bucks ....

yeah ...i think im gonna take them off and send them to olly @ roger clark motorsport to have a look .....for time being P.T.F.E tape seems to be stronger than expected.!!!

Has anyone come across ap racing formular big brake kits where the brake pad securing pins are loose after changing brake pads & disks etc..... the pad securing pins just fall out of the caliper???????..... ... I have this model of brakes fitted to front of my p1...their normally only available for new age imprezas .unless u fit 19inch wheels etc.....part no...(New Age Shape & N14 (01-09) - Front 6 Piston Kit CP7040-1002 - Ø362x32mm Disc). .... On buying the car they were already fitted and badly worn so i had to change the d's and p's straight away which seem easy to get parts from ap as part numbers were on the back of the calipers........ During the fitting procedure the pad pins were seized in the caliper only on the osf ...i removed them with wd40 etc .....u can still see the paint inside of the hole no signs of drilling etc so i know over sized pins have not been fitted ...the calipers also look fairly new ....the paint looks original.... I bought new pins from ap racing but on fitting they are just loose in the caliper and fall out when drving ....this is bad i know ..... Ap racing have said they only do one set of pins for that particular model of caliper .and the old pins bar 1 which is rusty fall out of the caliper too exactly the same........... does any one know what i can do next ... or come accross this problem before .....????????????? help!!!!!!!!!
