  1. Oh forgot to say thanks derek for sorting my little typo..
  2. Hi jaq, the car hasn't missed a beat (it'll prob blow up now). I'll prob end up running it, i'm not planning to but you just can't resist can ya? Hoping to do a few track days myself but i'll need better rubber and brakes first.
  3. So who's all going to crail for the banzai day on sunday? It's a bit of bad timing as it means i can't go to knockhill motorfair as well (busy on sat). S'posed to be a lot of jap stuff going, hopefully not too busy though.
  4. No probs m8, are you adjusting to the elise? The back end certainly comes out sharpish on them.
  5. On a brochure, i picked it up at the bike show m8. will send you pic via email as i dont know how to post pic on here.
  6. Right this is getting out of hand, tim your now old scoob is used in the knockhill whats on brochure to advertise trackdays. You had it on the track? Are you paying someone for all this publicity?
  7. awd seem to have a good reputation with scoobs, also jvs in edinburgh
  8. Bugger! i was hoping to make this one and get my scoob on the track for the first time, oh well roll on the next one!
  9. Miss, i showed my m8 this car and he told me there is a thread on the rsoc about it, someone on there sold it to the dealer for 15K. That's a healthy profit if anyone buys it.
  10. Jaq, i'll prob be at the sidc days and hopefully a couple of hot marques nights. My m8 is looking for a car just now and he's got three to choose from, Sti type R, evo 6 and cossie. The cossie is his fav but as you said they are getting harder to find in good condition and most of them are either due or just had a full engine rebuild which is a little off putting. The cossie is a great car and cheap to tune but you do need a bit more power to stick with a scoob due to it being a little heavier. Looks the dogs though!
  11. Hi miss, that's a lovely cossie, the monte is the one i'd love to own just sell the aftermarket alloys and put the standard oz's back on and it would be perfect except it is overpriced imho.
  12. Hi tim, that's a nice car m8, bet it feels totally different from the scoob, i wouldn't have thought it would be cheaper to insure, just goes to show. If i don't see you at crail maybe i'll see you at knockhill as i'm planning a few trackdays myself once i fit a knocklink and afr guage (sitting waiting to be fitted). I take it you'll be at the hot marque nights then. The elise should be ideal for the hill aswell.
  13. Cool, cheers Tim, gonna put ebc greenstuff pads in it for now.
  14. cheers m8, s'pose i'll find out soon enough (warping them will be a good excuse to change them)
  15. Anyone been out on the track with the standard 2 pots? If so how did they do? i wanted to uprate my brakes, my95 STI2 for the track but due to other commitments i can't afford to at the moment so i was wondering if the 2 pots could handle a little track action. Cheers Johnny
  16. Jaq i got it from a guy on snet, he bought it for his 200sx but didn't fit it. I think they are about £130 to £150 new inc. the sensor.
  17. That's good news, hope you get your sti m8
  18. congrats miss scooby, looks like i'm keeping mine, gonna extend my own house rather than buy a new one so i will be able to keep the scoob. Just got to fit my goodies now ( no performance parts yet, just goodies to keep an eye on it). Tim thats good news mate keep us informed.
  19. Pink neons a maf for your car should only be about £70 so at least that won't break the bank.
  20. Alright miss? what ya been up to? hows that beast of yours?
  21. Nowt wrong wi 2wheel drive m8, i might have to go back to it myself as my wife is pregnant and i may need to invest in a new house although i would prefer rear wheel drive.
  22. Sorry to hear that m8, at least your ok (physically), is it repairable?
  23. What decision? STI m8, only joking. Anyone heard from miss scoob sti lately? wonder if the list of goodies for her sti is getting bigger, c'mon jaq spill the beans what are we gonna have to do to catch that beast now?
  24. Due to family commitments (nagging wife) i may not be on my pc till after christmas so i thought i'd wish everyone a very merry christmas just now.
  25. Jaq, i wouldn't worry about it, look at tims sig and you'll see a little bit of my car it seems to happen to us all when tims about Edited to say: watched the vid yet? loved the guys brand new evo6, poor sod!!
