About tyke

  1. Hi, I know a bit about these things. It is possible that your HHv3 address is dropping out. You might try and connect it to your BT fon ascribed part of your bandwidthe [bTFon-H]. The real solution is to set up a cable connection, or take a look at the BT community forums and post a Q there. I'd suggest that, as I lurk quite a bit on there. http://community.bt.com/
  2. I'm a relative newbie on here, but I've already started parking as far away from everyone else in car parks. Had some near miss scratches from monkeys that look humanoid.
  3. Thanks for all the answers everyone.
  4. Thats odd! I've been driving this car for just a week now, and have been overtaken by more nutters on the road behind a wheel than I can ever recall.
  5. Thanks for the replies. I always bought BP regular for the previous vehicles, so the advice really is to continue to do the same; thanks. Although slightly off-topic can I ask in the same thread two other questions as posters on here seem pretty quick to answer and I'm grateful for that. I've read the thread on engine oil but its beyond me. To cut to the chase, what oil sould I buy to top up between services please? Final Q; last week whilst on holiday on the Lakes, another driver gave me [i thought] a quick finger up sign from his car. At first I thought "cheeky ***" but then I realiased he was a Scooby driver. Is there a 'recognition' code between Subaru drivers like this? [Please answer yes, as I think thats great] :-) I really like my Subaru ;-) Great to be on-board.
  6. Hi guys, I'm a newbie. I have a Impreza R 1994cc petrol. Sorry if its a daft Q, but should I fill up with regular fuel, or the BP next up extra job at the pump? Thanks for replies to come. Tyke.
  7. Well I'm glad I had my new car with the latest weather. Good to be here, neither a rallyer or racer I be in any event.
  8. Whoa. I'm not sure I should be on here. Seem great people but many seem to be racers and ralyers. I'm not, just a man who likes the car he's picking up this w/end cos its different.
  9. Thanks for the replies - I'm in Leeds: no pics yet as I dont pick it up until later in the week. Daughters partner drives one, and as we passed BMW's etc stuck in the last bad weather I just said "I'm getting one." Kids grown up now, so time for a bit of "Dad-time" ;-) Mind I'm not a rally or racer. Just want something that does things a bit different.
  10. Hi everyone. A newbie here and really looking forward to picking up my Sub this week. Wanted one for years and now I've done it. Might need a bit o' help though with this and that. Cheers!!!
