Okay thanks. Does this discount work on any insurance company or only certain ones that you have arranged it with?

I have been told by a friend, but you know friends usually give out wrong information . He said if I join a Subaru club and tell the insurance it should drop the insurance by a small amount, does anyone know if this is true? Thanks

Sorry for bringing up a dead topic but how do you find out which type my engine is? Is it between a certain year? It's a 1996 WRX STI.

Hey, My name's Rich and I'm from East Sussex, I'm 20. Just bought my 1996 Subaru Impreza WRX STI (pictures should be below somewhere), completely standard and staying that way. Needs a clean, it's done 63,000 miles. Could someone please tell me what mileage is the best time to do the cambelt? At the moment I'm hoping to join the club and take it to some of the meets or take it to Brands Hatch in the close future. I wont be able to afford the insurance till I'm 21, not long. At the moment driving a Rover 75 . With my current license, what is the deal with towing the Subaru? Would I need to take a trailer test to tow it with an a-frame? Any ideas or tips?
