As many of you may know. I became an RO for the Midlands region last year in partnership with Mark(warrior08). Then in September Mark took on the role of product coordinator within the club. Shortly afterwards he moved across to the sponsorship side of the club and asked me to step up to the challenge of the product coordinator role. This i did and all started off really well. After a lot of nagging with suppliers i managed to negotiate some good discounts for members of the club. Then disaster struck. Mark had to sell the car for personal reasons which its not my place to say on here. But he did what he had to do for the best of himself and his good lady. This left me in a bit of a rut to be honest. Batman had lost his robin. And had a knock on affect of a couple of events planned. Then i had things happen with work which meant my commitment to the club was restricted for a while as i was having to work a lot more hours. Basically the point of this long drawn out writing is to offer my apologies to all members of the club for letting you down lately and the biggest apology goes out to Rachel. She's been more than helpful to me in the last few months and i can't thank her enough. This is why we both felt it was a good idea for Rachel to replace Mark as joint Midlands RO. Hopefully moving forward i should be able to offer more time towards the club and get the ball rolling again. Safe driving Nick

SIDC Midlands is pleased to announce details of their next meet. This will be held on Sunday 22nd April @ 12:00 We will be meeting at Cross Roads Subaru The address is: Cross Roads Subaru Tredington Shipston-on-Stour Warwickshire CV36 4NN T: 0844 662 6864 Cross Roads Subaru Jon Mathers, Managing Director of Cross Roads Subaru and Driver of the 2011 Time Attack Championship winning Pro R Hatch and the rest of his Team will be on hand to answer and questions and give advice on anything Subaru related. They will have both race cars in attendance. The current TA challenger and the new Pro R car in build for end of season. They are hoping to get one of Colin Mc Rae's works rally cars here They will also have in attendance their scally rally car which will be on display. Exciting news about the new relationship formed between Cross Roads and Miltek which will mean lots of nice goodies on display. And fingers crossed there will be a very nice shinny car for people to look at. Full Details TBC.
