hey Eddie... you will find winter tyres have a lower speed rating then normal tyres, so in the cold weather thats ok, but once the warmer weather turns up you will rip them apart... i was running the eagle f1's on mine last year, and didn't really have any problems.. i'm going to upgrade to a set of 17" soon, and was looking at Bridgstone REO50A, but from memory your running a bigger tyre.. 225 or 235/45/17, the Dunlop SP sports Maxx is a good tyre...

i had the same bit missing on my classic... just popped in to my local Subaru dealer, it was only a couple of quid...

spotted a nice looking Black STI with SIDC Plates on it today about lunchtime... parked up near Burger King, Ladymead, Guildford..
