I have used a snooper s5-r for past 6 years. Picks up laser and radar, has 3 logic modes to help screen out false alarms such as traffic light radar etc. It has picked up laser, but the main use in radar - if the car in front of you gets targetted the scatter is picked up giving you time to adjust speed. It also gives some warning of gatsos and lets you know if they are turned on - lots are not. I have a tom tom satnav which I have the pocketgpsworld database on for static/likely sites etc. Bottom line is none pick up unmarked cars.

Do the hawkeye wagons come with roof rails? I am looking at one that doesn't have any and I use them on my current car for bike rack. Is best option putting rails onto the car or seperate roof bar brackets?

Currently drive a bugeye wagon PPP but is getting on in miles and have opportunity to trade for standard hawkeye wagon with low miles at good price. On a brief test drive seemed better suspension (firmer and more composed), but was suprised by lack of outright shove although the 2.5 engine's low down torque was noticeable. Far too quiet too with standard exhaust. Has anyone made a similar transition/got any advice about how the 2 cars compare? Cheers in advance!
