Thanks guys for your advice appreciate it. I was completely baffled by the knocking noise every time there was people sitting in the back i couldn't pin point where it was coming from, I think i will upgrade when i get some spare cash. again thanks everyone for your input dougie

I have only owned the car for a month and it comes with a years warranty but i never got it from a subaru dealer, if i want to change the shockers myself what the best kit at a reasonable price.

Hi all, Just had my car down at the dealership where i bought it from there seems to be a knocking noise coming from the rear suspension and it sounds worse when anyone sits in the back they had a look and couldn't find anything wrong apart from a bit of play on the rear strut, They phoned a subaru dealer who said that was normal not sure if i should my dealers word for it or take it to subaru myself. If anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it. cheers dougie

where about do you live,The guy who paints my cars does a good job at reasonable prices

It depends on the painter how he wants to charge you smaller garages are cheaper than the dealers ,what colour is your car there is paint colours like silver or red that are harder to match with the rest of your panels your scratch on your arch might need blended in with your rear door bumper. I had a car painted for me and it was silver and had the arch repaired and a scratch on the rear door and i he had to blend in the front door rear bumper.

Hi all, I have already posted a mention on the general section but thought i would say hello on this page as im from sunny scotland.I have just purchased a 55 plate wrx impreza been waiting for years to buy one these great cars due too having kids i never got the chance until now and im loving it, the car is in mint condition and has only 30,000 miles on the clock when i saw it on the dealer web page i had to go and have a look and a test drive after the drive i was hooked and bought it there and then.when the wife and i picked the car up we had the biggest grin you would have thought we had won the lottery. I am hoping to get to some of the meets soon,I just missed the lanark loch one which is just up the road from me.

I saw the McRae vision stall from the window when i was working on a job across the road at george square,but the time i finished work and came out it was all getting packed away and never even got a chance to have a look at the cars either. well gutted
