I have put a full de-cat system on my car but does anyone know if u have to change just the down pipe and the cat pipe or just one or the other for the mot.

I agree mate it sounds good without being to loud inside the car, I thought about the ninja 2 back box as well but there was no point changing the back box i have.

Thats me booked into andy forrest in a couple of weeks for a remap can't wait, Im in the middle of changing my exhaust for a full de-cat just waiting for the down pipe to come tomorrow so in the mean time can someone tell me where and how easy it is to change the fuel pump on the hawkeye.

I have a guy that i use in stonehouse he does a good job and at a reasonable price.

It was bad enough stealing the motor in the first place but too burn it out was just sick and twisted.

Im looking to purchase new discs and pads for my hawkeye wrx, can anyone give any suggestions on where is the best place to get them and also whats maybe the best sets to get.

looks like a right cheap dodgy paintjob just doesn't look right, would'nt pay that kind of money for the motor either.

That was the same instructor that my next door neigbour had last year, I said the same thing lucky sod i had to learn to drive in an f reg 205 diesel.

Coming home from work the night and got stuck behind a horsebox and an old guy about 70 driving a newage sti would he pass the horsebox would he hell sat behind it all the way to galston, very nice car though shame about the driver.

Thanks mate i will give that a try,I first thought it was the jack lying in the boot so emptied the full boot and thought i cured the problem but did i hell. I will try that idea tomorrow Thanks mate i appreciate the advice

Thanks guys for your advice appreciate it. I was completely baffled by the knocking noise every time there was people sitting in the back i couldn't pin point where it was coming from, I think i will upgrade when i get some spare cash. again thanks everyone for your input dougie

I have only owned the car for a month and it comes with a years warranty but i never got it from a subaru dealer, if i want to change the shockers myself what the best kit at a reasonable price.

Hi all, Just had my car down at the dealership where i bought it from there seems to be a knocking noise coming from the rear suspension and it sounds worse when anyone sits in the back they had a look and couldn't find anything wrong apart from a bit of play on the rear strut, They phoned a subaru dealer who said that was normal not sure if i should my dealers word for it or take it to subaru myself. If anyone has any ideas i would appreciate it. cheers dougie
