About brodie

  1. ''garaged all it life and has hardly be used'' .....nah I wouldn't be seen out in it either
  2. They offered me £50 for my mint XR3i when I had it ...the garage I bought le Scoob from gave me £1,500!!!
  3. I'm a new member and found out about the club by doing a search through the old Google, it was a bit of a prod in the dark though 'cos there seems to be loads of clubs on the web so could have been pretty hit or miss - gladly my experiences of the club have been wholly positive so far though!! - so I agree flyering or advertising would definitely be a good way of attracting new members like myself to the fold...
  4. I see that the Sauber's are going to have a message on the side of their cars in support of those affected by the earthquake and tsunami, nice touch I think. I'll be looking out for Schumacher - the car doesn't seem to be too competitive but he has to have more left in him than he's shown...

My girlfriend's just borrowed my Classic... ...I feel sick.
  6. I don't mate - folk on the road with foglights on when it isn't necessary is one of my pet hates, too. They're only on in the pictures cos (I think) it looks cool Thanks for the welcomes everyone
  7. Hi everybody! I'm completely new to both the forum and Subaru's (so be gentle) and just picked up my first Scooby last week so thought I'd say hello. Reading through previous topics of a similar nature it looks as though it's manadatory for newbees to include a photo of the car. My IT (in)competence knows no bounds so apoligies if this hasn't worked... as the pictures (hopefully) show my first venture into Subaru ownership is a Classic 2.0 Sport in a lovely shade of blue, built in 2000 and pictured this morning just before the snow came on. Might not be a fire-breathing WRX or STI but it's cheaper on the insurance (any my budget wouldn't stretch to such luxuries anyway) and it still makes a magic noise. And I LOVE it already (and so to - surprisingly - does the missus).
