  1. Hey up folks. I know a few of us were talking last year about suspension and handling upgrades last year at RallyDay. Hope everyone has seen the CDF Groupbuy on here. Prices are very reasonable and considerably cheaper than the other 2 big brands. Come on...... What you waiting for.

Hope your all well and looking forward to a meet towards the end of June

  2. Crashing a scimitar??? No wonder you've got a dodgy leg. Not a lot of space in those garden sheds :)

Looks like the GL is white now or is that just the reflection of the snow.

Much appreciated. I will keep that in mind and be there early when the sparrows start farting.

  3. I'm all good cheers Matty. Slightly bored but spending lots of money for round 2 of modding haha.

I will have to have a look at the 'Fling' thread as I was excited for everyone last year. It looks like a good crack.

I'm going to try and get to Rallyday earlier this year so I can try a famous Muffin. I'm wilting away out here :)

Have you got a thread on the GL yet?

  4. Do you want a cai?

    If so get it bought.

    Simples.

    What he says.

If you think you can use the extra cash elsewhere then stick with a performance panel Filter and STD airbox. I've got the AEM CAIK that fits in the wing.

Negative points - Cost +£200, Nowhere to attach the 2 coolant hoses that clipped neatly to std airbox, in uber wet weather and floods you wince at any puddles thinking your filter will drown.

Plus points - looks shiny in engine bay, adds a nice induction noise and looks shiny in engine bay.

If I could do it again I'd spend the cash on a rear strutbrace and some uprated springs.

My mapper said the standard airbox is good to in excess of 400 brake. Hope this helps.

  5. Luckily I'm collecting lots of 'Gizzits'. And being a Mischievous Sapper, I've handcuffed someone to a chair when we didn't have the key. (Short trip to the RMP's) then I locked a combination twisty safe lock thingy when they didn't have the code. They'll never leave anything out to play with again!!

Unfortunately my wheels arn't much to brag about. Still keeping with the 4WD but it's a Toyota Hilux. Good for getting the back end out on the dusty roads though and of course I'm keeping to the 24kph speed limit ;)

Looking at R+R around the end of June so might have to get a Drive out on the cards.

  6. You mean you got it dirty for once Tel?? I've got everything I need really. Thank you anyway. Heard you guys have got more snow. I'm sloghtly gutted about this but hey ho.

Just noticed I'm a non-member. Think I need to spend another £20 sheets and that's not of toilet roll either. Haha

I've heard I might be back for RallyDay. Fingers crossed.

  7. Hey there fellow Westcountry Folk. Firstly, apologies for not being around lately. Work commitments, rubbish tinterweb and few problems with the WRX here and there = Angry Keithy :cussing:

Doesn't look like I will be able to attend any meets over the next 4 weeks as I'm on course again and the Deployment has been moved forward by a month possibly.

Hope you all had a great xmas and New Year and I'll see you all around if I get the chance before I depart for a sun tan
