  2. Mornin dudes. Cheers Andi, dont know about looking good. Car goes in for respray on 10th.
  3. << Plus I got a new electric impact gun so you can get the heads of within 15 mins >> That be after the 3 hours you spend playing with it dude. lol Ya big tart.
  4. Mornin dudes. I still have access to the hotel workshop/garage if needed with car lift, engine hoist, welding gear etc and lots of space. You have to supply own bacon butties though.
  5. Mornin dudes.
  6. << Sort of thinking about a programmable ecu now I have a decent laptop to meddle, but I dunno which ones will plug straight into my wiring loom, which are good/not good, easy to map etc. Plus the added factor that I'm not sure about paying the better part of a grand for an ECU on a car that's worth maybe only double that! It's all confusing. >> You should be able to fit a Apexi Power FC dude, as your wiring loom is the same as the 92-96 WRX with 4 plug connector. These can be bought for around £500. If you want someone to map it then Andy F is the guy for Power FC, but he's in Scotland. (Do you like haggis? lol) He does scoobs for £700 supply, fit and map, I dont see how yours would be any different from mapping a 95 WRX. Only prob is the Power FC has limited boost control, much more than standard boost requires the AVCR to work with the Power FC which adds about £200 to the bill. But if your happy with your current boost and just want to sort the car out you should be fine without. You can buy the software, but no idea how much or how easy it is to use. You can get the commander hand set for the Power FC though to fiddle with the settings in car.
  7. << << What guages you fitted Nick Dude, still thinking about some for ours >> What!!!! I hold you responsible for this Dave >> Lol, dont know what you mean. You had your ear bent yet Paul dude?
  8. flutter, pop, bang, pop, burnt arse
  9. << I have got the +ve from the heater power. I unplugged one of the power feeds, turned on the lights and the heater panel didnt light up. Using the powers of deduction (and a 12volt bulb) I tried each wire in turn and found the one that has power when the lights are on. All I need now is to wire up the gauges to ignition, get a new olive for the boost gauge and bam, jobs done Morning Dave dude sorry >> Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet Mr Teare. How's the oil issue? or should'nt I ask. Lol at you the other day coming up circular road with your head out the window and BOV going off, sounded sweet though.
  10. << << Dude, Kirstie looked like Garfield stuck to the window the way you were going round the round about. lol >> LOL Dave dude... For one thing my wife is not as cute like Garfeild.... >> You'll get a slap for that comment dude.
  11. 30shooters = Very drunk Dave, chasing an overbite!
  12. Not at all mate, just a lot of people have sold there scoobies on, plus after christmas most people will be short on funds to. So if we had a meet not many would turn up which spoils it, second week of feb looks like when the stokes will be over with el captain?s scoob. Am sure we will be having a meet then.
  13. Convoy. Want to go to this, if the cars ready! And it be my birthday that week to.
  14. << Nice touch Dave. Were they a piece of cake to fit? >> No, had to take a hacksaw to the bonnet hinges and drill and tap the wings. Not sweet, but I knew this before I bought them, as there is not a proper kit to fit scoobies, well classics anyway. Newage kits cost £50-£80. Hows the legacy dude? Sorted you det/fuel issues?
  15. << Dave you TART Almost finished fitting my gauges properly but am a bit stuck looking for a positive to cut into when the lights are on. Also, have got the negative fitted but when I attached the positive wire to live the oil temp gauge goes backwards Any ideas dudes? Jimmy, not sweet m8 but I bet its warmer here >> Someone has to be. You could take the positive from the cig lighter dude, not sure if the 93-96 models have the light surrounding it though, this is where I tapped mine into.
  16. Dude, Kirstie looked like Garfield stuck to the window the way you were going round the round about. lol
