Just posting a "hello" message from across the pond in Boston MA USA.
I've been reading this forum for a few years to see what you guys are doing over there in the UK, and now that i'm visiting (oct 3rd - oct 11th), i'd figure i'd post a few details of my whip and a tread about my trip. Trip details I posted on a separate thread here: http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=151119
I've got a 2004 GDB/A that I've turned into a full-time track car. Myself and my team call her the visual assault / DENT Sport Garage "RASpec Impreza".
She's got a JDM ej207 STI 2.0l engine swap with Tomei 2.2l stroker kit including Tomei rods, pistons and balanced crankshaft. Shes force-fed from a Garrett gt3076 turbine and runs around 1.5-2 bar depending on the track i'm running. Currently she runs 388bph at the wheels at 1.5bar. She made 450bph at 2bar and redlines at 8900rpm.
The car was build by DENT Sport Garage here in Boston, and the engine tolerances were built to spec with good amount of advice from Tomei as well as the UK Subaru powerhouses Roger Clark Motorsport (RCM), Zen Performance and Crawford Performance back here in the states.
I currently use her for the Redline Time Attack series, hillclimbs, and circuit time trials.
You can read more about the parts I build her with and some race results here:
