  1. Cheers mate! A few wee pics to start off anyway. Can't wait to get in and polish her up this weekend though
  2. Yeah I'm not holding my breath lol. Just opted for the slightly dearer insurance which does not require a tracker. Probably cheaper overall.
  3. Cheers I'll give them a try.
  4. Nope doesn't say buddy. The invoice just states £260 for the tracker and £325 for Life Time Subscription paid to Eaglesham Garage.
  5. The only info on the Invoice says S & F Tracker. It was fitted by Eaglesham Garage in Renfrewshire. How would I know who to contact? I have phoned Eaglesham but heard nothing back yet. Doh! Just realised that's probably Supply and Fit (S&F) and not an actual brand
  6. Quick question on trackers folks. The cheapest insurance quote I can get states the car must have a tracker fitted and be active otherwise the car will not be covered for theft. As I have just purchased the car I checked through Invoices and found one stating a tracker is fitted and a lifetime subscription paid for by the original car owner. Does anyone know if this will cover me for the tracker being active?
  7. Well I weighed everything up and tonight I went for a totally Standard 53 Plate WRX saloon in WR Blue. I somehow like the idea of putting your own little touches to a car - almost a hobby. And the thought of having something that was the finished article didn't really appeal. Also I managed to get one in the price bracket I was looking for without having to add any finance or loans etc so I feel a bit more comfortable with that. Thanks again for all the help and advice on here - much appreciated
  8. Now the proud owner of a 2003 Blobeye Funnily enough never noticed the Green illumination on the drive home
  9. Very close to purchasing a Blobeye tonight if all goes well, but I don't like green illumination clocks lol. Sure it won't be a showstopper though.
  10. Can anyone confirm if a standard 2003 Model Blobeye WRX has Green or Red Instrument illumination?
  11. Thought I was doing well finding a UK300 in that price range tbh
  12. Yeah bugeye mate with PPP 0-60 5.3secs? 18" Gold alloys, black headlights and blue suede interior.
  13. OK managed to sell my own car this weekend so now have cash in hand Budget is down to about £4K though so STI is out the question. Thoughts on the UK 300?
  14. LOL and can I interest you in a Corolla T Sport
  15. Yeah I'm not too fussed over the Prodrive styling. Sure it looks great but from the original post I was dwelling over a standard WRX or an STI. So a standard STI would more than fit the bill. How safe is 350bhp though in one of these?
  16. TBH I would be more taken by the looks than performance and as you say the potential is there to do more. The standard WRX STI would be like a new world to me compared to what I've been driving. But I know exactly where you're coming from buddy
  17. Thanks for the info W88CHY, always loved that car!! Think it was up for sale again couple of months ago?
  18. Thanks already been in touch with seller but he is not interested in my car p/x so I'd need to sell first.
  19. So probably not an official Prodrive version then, may just have some prodrive parts fitted aftermarket? I still need to get the funds together so nothing imminent until that happens anyway.
